Anyone else play this yet. I've put about an hour into it already, and it'sa  blast. Combat is fun and satisfying especially fighting those mechs. And the exploration is great too. I forgot how much fun this style of game is.

There are 4 dificulty settings and you can change them on the fly. On Normal it's not really all that hard.

I covet this game....

I was over at a friend's house last night watching a couple of preview videos on his 360 and completely fell in love with this game.  It definitely has some unique elements that differentiate it from the 'Metroidvania' formula (which i'm a huge fan of in the first place).

Urge to buy a 360 rising....rising....

I have my opinions on the quality of 360 hardware, but at the same time, I give little credence to the accuracy of those "scientific polls."

I'm just at the part where you replace your pistol with a submachine gun. So far it's a blast and I know I'll be going for both a 100% run and a low percent run.

Edit: Also, apparently no one else has given this Playing Now status yet.

How much is it again in the Market Place, I definitly want to give this one a go. Looks awesome and the reviews all go in that direction as well, let it be publisher or user reviews.

With the Jasper chip now out there. Those numbers will liekly drop anyways. I waited to buy my 360 specifically until Jasper came out. ( I bought mine back in June). My console is always cool. No heat at all and no issues upgrading to NXE as well.

why is the game 900 points on goozex, shouldn't it be 750.  All of the other new games that are 1200 microsoft points on xbox arcade are 750 goozex points...such as trials hd and battlefield.  Will this eventually become 750 goozex points?

I liked the trial version, but i'm still undecided on whether to get this or Battlefield 1943. I have 2000 Microsoft points and I will probably get the new TMNT: Turtle's in time reshelled.

Downloadable games always have wonky pricing on here. It's not really the best place go shopping for them. Hell, Dash of Destruction was going for 600 goozpoints (I wish that was the real name) even though it's a free title.

 The game is great thus far. I'm a couple hours into it and loving every minute. I recommend it highly.

Love the "old Metroid " feeling of gameplay, controls are tight and precise, enviroments feel real and enemies are satisying to kill.  My only gripe, and it's a small one, is that the story seems......kinda lame.  I'm only about an hour in but so far what storyline they do give you feels a bit "tacked on".  I'll reserve full judgement for after I've completed the game but even if the story doesn't really go anywhere it'll still be one of the best games to play on Arcade.
