For DVD case sized games, 7oz seems to be a safe bet.  Granted I've had some fall under even 5oz...but the majority of mine are 7oz.  The price jumps little for an extra ounce so even 8oz if you're really timid.

I go to the local post office, mainly because I drive by it whenever I'm out, and there is rarely a line. I also know all the staff (small town) and it's nice to say hello. The staff that work at the post office double as mail carriers (really, really small area.. I said >_>) so I tend to get great service at home too.

Zenverse:

Paypal is cheaper, more convenient, and it usually checks to make sure the address you entered is valid (that it exists). However, I have my own weighing scale so I can just weigh my packages and put it in Paypal. I haven't decided to activate it yet, but if I opened my trading region to Canada, I'd probably have to go to the post office.

Can't u also print a Paypal label if ur gonna ship to CANADA?

Similar story for me actually.  Small town, no lines, shipping is about 3 bucks per game.  I'd switch to paypal to save money, but I don't have a working printer.

Unfortunately no.  That's why I'm currently US only.  Hoping they'll open access to international shipping via FCM someday, somehow.

Well I cant vote since I need an other tab.  I dont pay for shipping because I am super awesome.  Well not super awesome but I do get lots and lots of free stamps.  I have over $200 worth of stamps in my kitchen right now.  My mom works at the bank and they get many envelopes in each day with uncanceled stamps on them.  I guess the post office should get a better stamp cancelling system in place, but until then I plan on taking full advantage of them the way they take advantage of us.

Question for you paypal shippers: I just recently got a printer (yay!) and i'm interested in using the paypal shipping feature. If you use paypal shipping, can you just stick the games in your mailbox and have the mail carrier take it? Or do you still need to find a drop box or something?

I'm near certain the mail carrier will take the items...but I always use a blue drop box...which is also serviced by a mail carrier, so I'm sure you'd be fine.

I'd use my own mailbox, but I don't like leaving them unattended whilst I go to work.  Putting it in that blue box lets me know it isn't going anywhere.

Someone else could surely confirm this though.

I use Goozex labels. It's fast and easy and only ends up costing like $2.80 or so to mail a game, which is a very fair price to not have to do any work myself.

I try goozex and USPS Click-N-Ship to get prices and use whichever is cheaper.
