It was a bit weak in RPG and story elements for me (exactly like ME2!), but I still had a blast with it.  I don't really care for shooters, so I didn't notice any real deficiencies there.  I'm curious to see if the DLCs add to the story at all, the ending to the core game was massively meh.

I'm sure it'd have been more fun with a full group, but with just the two of us it felt almost like a barren MMO; one that we were grinding missions in with no overall end goal.  Didn't help that he had no patience in which to allow me to listen to any dialogue, either.

Old post :) but even the devs agree with my assessment.  They are looking at better/deeper RPG elements next time, which is good news!

I never did finish this game, got sidetracked w/ Dr, Ned and then went back and the main quest was too low level for me.  Maybe this weekend

I thought the dialog was hilarious. Also keep in mind that the game is actually better with a larger group. It scales the difficulty so that it gets harder the more people you have in your group and with 4 people you have to actually work together to defeat stuff. In the end it sort of is a large MMO since the main goal really is just to pick up as much loot as you possibly can.

Always made me kinda sad that the "86 Gazillion guns!" or whatever turned out to be almost the exact same looking guns with some having more damage than others. Wish you could have at least used different sights =/.

Not even sure my PC can run it, but $10 is a steal, and I'm sure I'll upgrade sometime, right?

if we would have had time to coordinate a 4 pack purchase, I definately would have split with other Goozers...

Nice I hit level 50 the other day and the ms points I bought online haven't come in to buy the dlc yet. I stopped playing after noticing my xp stopped. I don't care if the level doesn't go up but I should still gain xp. I started a new playthrough on Fallout 3 a long time ago before the level cap raised above 20 and the xp stopped. I know it doesn't matter but I like to see some kind of progress even if it doesn't mean anything.

You  still earn progress for the different guns. Just not levels.

You won't see any number increases, but you are gaining experience still as your gun proficiencies will still increase up until you reach level 50.

Exactly. The levels of your guns go up with experience.
