I use it everytime, and also wish others would do the same.

I dont know how people say it cost $8? did you know priority flat rate for a game is $4.80 with tracking number if you put it in a flat rate enevelope that you get for free from usps.com?

most of the time i ship first class and a tracking number is only $.80 more if paid at the post office or it is free if you pay online.

I use delivery confirmation all the time, that way you know for sure whomever you shipped the game to got it, it's a safe guard.  Delivery Confirmation sent with First Class usps usually only cost a total of $3.20 US dollars.  80 cents is the price for confirmation.  I did that all the time when selling games on ebay or feebay...

As has been said several times already, the $8 thing applies to sellers who live in Canada, who are shipping to other Canadian addresses and want Delivery Confirmation. D C is NOT available for US to CA, nor for CA to US addresses.

I use Delivery Confirmation on every package I send off to someone in the States. But I don't provide it when I confirm shipping. Honestly I see DC as me protecting myself and not the buyer.

With tracking I can actually see it in transit and see if they should get good feedback.

They should get good feedback if the game is in good condition. You can not leave a lower feedback score for them shipping late, and Goozex will consider that feedback abuse.

Indeed, we are getting ripped off in Canada when it comes to postal service. You even pay for fuel surcharge if your item is considered "light packet".

So I do agree with my fellow Canadian users. Tracking here is expensive internally. I wanted to ship a game from Montreal to Calgary and it would of cost me 10$ with tracking...pfff. It's not even the value of the game (100pts). Sending in the US with tracking....just buy the game yourself...will be cheaper...

I do like it a lot more when people use DC. For me, it's only about 50 cents extra, and it helps against potential dishonest people. I appreciate when a seller uses DC so I know if they've actually sent it.

Would you like insurance with that? Hmm

wtf

$7.50!!!!

dude what r u using priority

shipping should only costbout 2.75 includ

If this suggestion ever happened you would see over 1/2 of the goozex population quit.  I am not paying $7.50 to ship a video game...

It's just not a viable option for some people.

TC, the only way that wouldn't cause a riot would be if Goozex compensated the people who were getting shafted by having to spend an outrageous amount on shipping. And something tells me that would be a problem in of itself!

Yeah, I don't get people who are reading like 3 posts in this thread and getting upset and posting.  DC is expensive for Canadians.   Not if you live in the USA.

That being said, I do love users that use DC, and I use it for anything in the USA.  I just wish more people did use it in the USA, or at least confirm they ship it.  Nothing is more annoying that not having any kind of confirmation at all.

Yeah, I don't like having to worry. Especially with low feedback or newer members. I enjoy the peace of mind so I always use DC here and anywhere else I trade/sell. It's frustrating that others are simply too cheap to add it to provide better service to their peers.

In my opinion anything that increases confidence and makes transactions smooth and stress free in the Goozex system isn't a bad thing.
