I've never paid more than $3-$3.50 for any game with DC - excluding bundles.  If it really does cost $8, I'm surprised there are a lot of Candian users.

I always try to thank senders for using DC when shipping out a cheaper game and can't understand it when people ship 1000 pointers without it.

I always use DC when I'm sending games - simply for my own protection and as proof that I've actually sent the game. Luckily I've never encountered any lost games or need to prove that I sent the game, but I feel better when I have the DC just in case.

When I'm the buyer, I like to see DC just to kind of use as a tracking device. The USPS doesn't always scan at every place the package stops, but you can usually at least see that it's in your hometown/state and can expect it in the mail that day. It's a nice feature and seems sensible to use, but I don't think it should be required if the seller wants to take the risk.

I only send my games with tracking, and Iove it when people send me games with it as well, but to be fair, I've never seen a game lost or damaged in the mail. Games I've not received were simply not sent, and games damaged were sent damaged. I can't really think of an example where tracking would have changed the outcome of a trade.

Actually Delivery confirmation does not exsist in international shipments. The post office would not allow it. however Goozex does take International Shipping numbers in place of Delivery confirmation.

If this suggestion ever happened you would see over 1/2 of the goozex population quit.  I am not paying $7.50 to ship a video game...

It's just not a viable option for some people.

It wouldn't be $7.50 it would be no more then $3 if using first class mail.

I'm glad you took the time to read that this was in reference to canadian users to whom it DOES cost a min of $7-$8 to ship anything with a tracking number.

The lowest I've shipped anything for is $2, (if I can get away with them shipping it as a letter), or $4 (as a package)

I have a select few priority post envelopes for 1000 point games to canada and the states, but other than that I never send anything with a tracking number.

I DO however, save all my post office reciepts AND take pictures of stuff I'm sending AT the post office WITH the reciept. Goozex DOES accept reciepts as proof that something was sent. Because obviously there's NO point in paying $7+ to ship a 100 point game.

One of my reasons I like it is I can't tell if a user is being lazy and sitting on my game when they agree to ship by X day. With tracking I can actually see it in transit and see if they should get good feedback.

For all I know they could be waiting for days past the deadline to mail it and simply say the USPS is slow in their area.

like many said before me, it's expensive for us in Canada to ship with a Tracking number.... it already cost me 5$ to send ONE psp game in a bubble envelope, and this does not include tracking... it was something like 8 dollars if I wanted the package to be sent faster, which includes a tracking number....tracking that will work only for the time the package is in canada, and belive me, Canada Post tracking system is very very unnacurate.... so unnacurate the package was in my hands, and Canada Post was still saying the package was in Toronto (I live in Montreal)

Yeah it can get extremely expensive in Canada. I wish that it was cheaper as I would undoubtably use it, but at $8 it is plainly not worth it.

Ack. $8? o_O

This is compunded by the problem that you can't get Del Conf for anything sent internationally anyway, no matter where it starts or ends up. For Domestic US, 19 c is dirt cheap (no excuse not to get it), and 80 isn't THAT bad; For Domestic CA, all I can say is holy crap Huh?

Either way, hang on to those receipts; Gooz accepts those, I believe, in a dispute

You could also garner that information from the postmark.  Where it says the date the item was mailed in the upper right corner of the envelope.
