Hmmm, I really like that idea, too bad the COD events are all over...
We'll try it for the bonus round in The Conduit though (too bad about the lack of friendly fire) with the person killing me the most getting the win.
Event 8 - The Conduit - Teams
This event will take place on Tuesday, 20 October 2009, starting at 9 PM EST.
Event will be run as follows:
Team picking: Team captains were choosen based on their overall standings and who I thought would make it the most interesting for the standings. Right now we are an even number, but we'll wait till tomorrow 12 noon EST to find out if Mikehogl is able to play. If we remain even numbers, Red team gets first pick. If we are odd numbers, Red team gets to choose if he wants first pick, or the extra teammate. The extra teammate will selected right at the begining (For example: 1st pick to red team, 2nd and 3rd pick goes to blue team).
Please show up either in skype, the goozex forums or the goozex chat during the event. If you don't have access to any of the above near your Wii, let me know.
Please confirm your attendance and add everyone's FCs beforehand.

Actually, you only need to apologize to Neebles, sicne he would have gotten the full point for 3rd instead of just 0.5 for 4th. And Somewan should thank you, because Neebles is right behind him in the overall standing by only 1 point.
Seriously though, don't worry about it, the whole point of the tourny was to try to get people to come out and play. Too bad you can't join us, but who knows... Maybe I'll run another tourney in the New Year. Pictures/Videos of overly excited people getting their prizes might help

Mike you bastard! I expect a formal apology. If I wasnt so shitty (oops sorry) at the other games, I would be higher in the standings. Its all good fun,and nice to get together regularly...I just hope it continues after the tourney is over...

I wouldn't say I'm very good at the Conduit - I like it, especially the Drudge weaponry so far, but I have a Wii so obviously I'm not a hardcore FPS kind of guy, have yet to play Conduit online, but I play MK online all the time, currently around 7000 , play as my "SPARROW" (Captain Jack) Mii a lot, or Nemo - an orange fishhead looking guy, in case I've ever pwned or been pwned by anyone on here.
sounds like fun, and I think I could pony up some smallish prizes (goozex gift cards) if it would get more people playing.
I do not have computer near my Wii - totally separate rooms on the same floor...

Thanks for the prize offer, I suggest waiting to see if we/I run another tourny if you want to donate a prize. It's not very fair for you to donate a prize and only play in the last two game. Also, don't worry too much about not having a computer near your Wii. Just read the rules beforehand and stay within those. Sometimes we deviate or play extra games, but nothing seriously different. The Conduit is easy because I have a Wii Speak and can pass on instructions in between matches.
