@Somewan - Okay, I won't bother upping them in that case. I'll probably keep an individual bonus round per team event to spice things up. The standings are really close so every event counts now.

Right now, that seems like the best game in my arsenal (and the only way I'm not going to be dead last).
Teams sounds interesting though, been a while since I've played 2 vs. 2 style on Super Smash Bros.
So dont count me out for SSBB yet, im going to try and rent it or something....I need the participation points to stay alive!!!

Don't worry about the odd number, that just means somebody will be alone on a team. Makes for interesting strategy. If you think you're good enough to beat teams of 2 and end up winning, that means only 1 person wins 3 points (for 1st), so you make up a lot of ground in the overall standings. If you win as a team, both players get the points so someone else will keep pace with you in the standings. Or everyone can avoid picking a certain person in order to make them brawl alone. I think that'll be fun Maybe I'll add extra incentive and have the single player get +1 points if they actually place... We'll see.

Sorry I missed it tonight, am out of town for work. But I'm headed out of town again in October for a two week work trip, so I think I'll bring my wii and practice up on conduit.

Thanks for the races guys, a lot of fun on my end. I think the biggest surprise was the Somewan was shutout in the scoring round. When he and I were paired up in the second round, everyone was complaining on skype that it was not fair. Who would have thought that Neebles would pull through and sweep the four races. One thing is for sure though, I SUCK at the Karts... Also surprising was the Fluffy... I mean I-Weapon-X... who was on the winning team both scoring rounds... Go figure...
The overall standings have been updated. Thanks to his performance tonight, Neebles has jumped into 2nd place. Somewan is close behind at third and Duddy07 is still within striking distance at 4th place. I-Weapon-X has pulled away from Nooshu and holds 5th place. Kameleon is just out of the prize standings, but "his" event is coming up next... Brawl should be interesting.
I'll upload the videos of the races I took in teh next few days.
@mikehogl - Too bad you couldn't make it for this, hopefully we'll see you for The Conduit next time around and the last Mario Kart Team event.

Man, we sucked fluff. I'd like to say close races, but neebles dusted us all in his kart, and Kameleon kinda got shafted getting paired with me and duddy that first round (sorry man). So while I can't say close races, they were fun.
My final score for this tournament is going to be 10, since I'll only be scoring participation points from here on. So if no one scores any points in any of the other events, then heelloooo second place! Woo-hoo!
