I adore both equally.

Kittens are hard to surpass on the cuteness scale. Their clumsy furry little wide eyed bodies are just too powerful.

But for sheer fun, lovability, and companionship, it's hard to beat a good dog.

Dogs any day of the week.

Kittens can be cool...to visit, not own that is.  Once they grow up though, what a waste.

There are only three good uses for cats indoors:

1) Extremely tiny space heater

2) Mobile throw pillow

3) Target practice for children with Legos (TM).

6) Massuese. My cat massages my back while I sleep.

I love dogs, but,

1)Must wipe their butts and pick up their poop

2) Noisy.

3) Slobbery.

4) Beggy.

5) Require daily walks

6) Not very sneaky.

I think I've only seen one cat that would fetch, and that was hit or miss.

Wipe a dogs butt?  My dog must be cleaner than most.  That and it is slobberless.  However, I let the wife do the poop picking upping if it's required, so I consider that a nonissue...lol.

Noisy I'll concede (mainly smaller breeds).  Beggy if poorly trained.  Daily walks are good for the owner.  And what about anti-tank dogs?  Very sneaky.  Not very nice, but sneaky...
