Crystal shows up in book 4. Granted the books and the show are so far off from each other at this point who knows what they are gonna do with her character. BUT I don't think Charlaine Harris named her after a street drug.

Lets say the first vamp was 3000 years ago.  Why would he ever die?  Every other vamp is younger than him?  And why arent there a ton more 1000 year old vamps making all the 100 year old vamps their bitches?

this reminded me of all those old gooz-economics threads!  It just works!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why vampires are not allowed to enter unless they are invited? When did this pop up. I'm trying to remember if Bram Stoker's Dracula was ever invited in to the household.

Eric states that he is older than the queen and only submitted due to respect. So, I guess most vamps are honor bound or they are just afraid of being destroyed (king mentioned the queen's guards defected).

The setting is in Mississippi...and Crystal's background will come out soon enough, her family tree doesn't exactly have many branches.

I finally popped in on one of my wife's Tru Blood viewing sprees and saw a passing nipple.  I'm beginning to think the porn aspect is overrated.

A shame really....

Turns out Magistrate was just a lapdog.  The King is entertaining, but another thing about True Blood powers canon I don't like is how Vamps have The Flash super speed.  That IMO is just silly.   Strength? OK Endurance?  Fine but FLASH SUPER SPEED?  It's already way over powered in comics.

The way the King used Super Speed in the last episode was absurd.

Yeah, there is no porn.  People love saying that about bewbs. Too much FOX news I think :)

When I recap last week's episode in my head, IDK if there were even any bewbs at all.   Tons of jelly blood tho.

They even had a sex scene recently with fully clothed vamp/human.  Sex w/ no nudity!  What is this, Dragon Age?
