They don't ship to Hawaii.  Which is awesome, because I know for a fact that Game Informer ships to Hawaii, seeing as how I used to get it but let my subscription lapse. 

Yes, I got my subscription with an Edge card membership.  I only set foot in Gamestop on very rare occasions these days so I don't need their card.

I only got an Edge card because they throw in the magazine, its fun to read but not really fact's of any kind. Any news it has is known for weeks before release, or leaked within a few days so they have to find other ways of entertaining us.

In simple terms Gamestop does suck unless you have an edge card lol. Having 10 percent trade in bonus ON TOP of any deal they have at the time is killer sometimes. Just the other week they had 30 percent off, with the card its 40 percent. cant say thats terrible...

Nope that's when the Edge card comes in handy. I for one trade all my games through Goozex but I do buy my games from around the web and more.

So how much is the Edge card now? I got it back when the Edge card came with the GMR magazine from EB.  I think it was $10 and you got 10 issues of the magazine, although I don't really remember.  I'm thinking of getting it again but I'm wondering if it's any cheaper if you opt out of the magazine (if you can opt out).  I'll probably be strolling around the mall sometime this week and might get it since there are a few games coming out this year I want to buy (like Beatles Rockband!).

i like GI magazine, as far as reading it goes, it is helpful, its reviews help me out from time to time, gives me some release dates and storys on upcoming games... it does what it should do

and the EDGE card is also helpful that 10% is pretty good, especially when added with other promos!

Thanks for the heads up, I-Weapon-X. GI isn't the best mag out there, but for less than $5 I'd say it's worth it. By the way, the deal is still working as of noon Eastern time today.

Yeah. I just sacrificed half a meal at Chipotle to get a year's worth of GI. Sounds reasonable to me.
