For those of you that have Wii Speaks . . . do you find that people use them online much? Even with XBox Live and PSN, which have easier ways to talk, I never hear anyone talking online (of course most people on XBox Live are probably in parties now, so you wouldn't hear them).

The Wii Speak only works with your friends, so you can't just join a public match and jabber with everyone. If you have a Wii speak, and your friends don't, they can hear you, but won't be able to speak to you. I think if you play teams, only your team can hear you, and only if they are in your immediate area.
As for multiple games, I think it may be better to hold separate contests instead of making it a multi game tournament. It would suck not winning because you don't own a certain game.
Yeah for this tournament, we will keep it to The Conduit only, especially since this is the first one, and its enough trying to figure out the logistics of just one game. Perhaps in the future, we can add other games, and have some sort of Goozex Special Olympics
so i think you should make the tourny 2 weeks from now. you know so people that wanna donate get a cool gift . Also noobies like everybody else except me can have a long time practicesing. Im ready to win that wii motion plus!
Yeah it will be at least 2 weeks away. We need to still figure out the scoring system, as well as get a sign up out there, and figure out prizes etc. There is a lot of work that goes into these things i guess.....

I think that there should also be a restriction on the prizes as well to keep people from creating an account just to win. I would say an added rule is that to be eligible for prizes, you need to be a goozex member in good standing with at least 2 trades by the end of the tournament to win a prize.
Good idea! We shold brainstorm a little tonight while we play,,,Get a good feel for all the modes, and how they woudl work tournament style....
