mach_kernel: I would honestly not accept a vandalized game like that. A game in perfect condition must mean original condition. Being a New Yorker, I see Graffiti in schools every day and on my way to work and I really wouldn't want to see it on my video games. Screw that. I'd take it up with Goozex to send the game back and get my money refunded. That is stupid.

The game wasn't vandalized.. It was THEIR property when they had written on the game. I'm sure they weren't planning on trading the game over Goozex when they had written on it.

No problem with that graffiti is some great artwork, and there is a lot of good stuff around NY.

Being a Baltimorian, I also see graffiti ON schools and everyday during my random adventures into Baltimore. Grafitti CAN be some great artwork, but a lot of it isn't. Some of it is downright BAD.
I don't know why I get pissed reading some of the replies on here.
when you gonna post the pics. I'm curious as to how bad it was to get you all riled up.
I'd be pissed too in this situation especially if the seller didn't notify me beforehand. Unfortunately it falls in the +5 feedback category.
I do suggest contacting the seller prior to leaving feedback. If you can't work anything out leave appropriate feedback and contact help@goozex.com and include:
I'm not 100% sure if somehting like this is covered by the Goozex Guarantee, but it wouldn't hurt trying.

While I have only traded a few games in here on Goozex, they have all been mint or near mint. It abhors me to hear that I can get ring-scratched games and games with writing on them in return. I don't expect mint games in return but I expect non-damaged games. In my eyes a game with writing on it is damaged. If this is really the case and these are acceptable games under Goozex standards, they at least need to enforce an age limit to increase the quality of the games.
Also, if this really true, I see Goozex as another Gamestop: A place to dump crap games. If I can get damaged games, I will damaged games. They play. It is a sad fact, but that is what this is telling me.

The game is not damaged because the game works. I think it's rude that the seller didn't notify the buyer but at the end of the day the buyer got what he asked for, which is a USED game that works.
And Goozex is nothing like Gamestop which is a corporation whose sole purpose for existing is to turn a profit by taking your money. This is a place where gamers are brought together to trade games. Nothing more, nothing less.
Also, why should there be an age limit placed here? Are you suggesting that all adults are good traders and all kids are bad traders? There is a feedback system in place to weed out the bad traders. Let it do its job.

Really not that big of a deal
You misunderstand me comparing this Gamestop. All I am saying is that Goozex is a crap hole to dump damaged games. Like my Dead Rising which is RING SCRATCHED. I would call it ruined but it plays. I can trade in Einhander which is scratched to oblivion but which plays. Someone is going to be pissed about trading 1000 points for a game this scratched... but it plays.
As for the feedback system weeding out bad traders: This is a positive feedback situation as almost everyone here has said. +5 or +10, it is positive. He can do that for eternity.
At least add a condition rating system. I can request games as complete, why can't I request a mint condition game if I want to wait for it?
liberty1:All I am saying is that Goozex is a crap hole to dump damaged games.
It's far from it. Almost all of the games I have received have been in stellar condition.
If you really aren't satisfied with the trade, leave the appropriate feedback and contact Goozex. All buyers and sellers are protected by the Goozex Guarantee.

You can, just not here. If you're really keen on getting mint games I suggest CAG and GameTZ. Both sites allow for haggling over prices and direct trading.
Happy trading

I know the hundreds of games I have received from Goozex have all been crap dumps.

If it plays, then how is it damaged?
Which is worse: writing on the disc, or stickers? Personally, I'd rather have writing than stickers...
Also, how much time do you guys spend looking at the disc instead of playing? I couldn't tell you what most of my discs look like, because they spend time either in the case or in my console... so although writing on a disc would absolutely suck, it wouldn't affect my enjoyment as a gamer.
As for Goozex being a dumping ground for bad games, not usually. Everything that I've received so far has been in good or great condition... including one still in-shrink game! Everything that I've sent out has been in good or great condition as well.
