And I wouldn't be surprised if they use him in a lot more situations than just your standard QB.  They'll probably bring him in in the relatively new "wildcat" formation.  Line up, with a free chance to run the ball straight from the snap or pass it at his discretion (they had a lot of success last year using Desean Jackson in that role).  Maybe even some wide receiver type slots, where he lines up for a screen pass and run, or even a reverse.  Lot of potential ways to mix him in if he still has that same athleticism.

Let's see... your starter is a mobile quarterback who got better at passing as he aged. Your backup is now a mobile quarterback who hasn't played for a few seasons but was good when he last played. Makes sense to me. Why change the system when your starter goes down/retires if you can have the same archetype behind him?

But seriously I am a Philly fan and I don't think he is going to receive a warm welcome by any means by the fans. How can you like a guy who kills dogs...come on now...

I believe Vick will make his first appearance in Week 7 on Monday Night against the Redskins.

And my bold prediction -- there will be a lot of talk about Vick -- this and that...blah blah blah...while the camera is zoomed in on him sitting on the bench.

How quick people are to forgive this guy.  I am an animal lover.  The image of someone smashing a dog's skull on concrete after forcing them to be "fighting dogs" will never leave my head.

If there is a god, maybe he will forgive Mick Vick.  I will not, I consider Vick to be a murderer of man's best friend.  He intentionally and willfully tortured and killed multiple dogs over a period of years.  EFF HIM
