I-Weapon-X: wetwillies: igorponweed: Decrypded: Not sure why someone earlier didn't like JCVD - I agree, I loved it. The last monologue was excellent, and it was one of the few movies to break the 4th wall that I thought worked very well. Best 4th-wall-breaking ever. I think I have to agree with you. Though JCVD is a very close second. you both just like seeing men teenage boys in the shower

MY TACO IS BIGGER THAN YOURS!!!!!
Started watching Jaws and I was really loving it, but the DVD kept skipping. So much so, I couldn't continue.

did you get it from netflix? It seems to happen to me alot from there - maybe one out of every 10 movies or so. The last movie I got did that - Obsessed- It was a crappy movie but it still made me mad because I watched an hour and 15 minutes of it and had to retry putting the disc in like 5 or 6x before the ending 2 scenes played. That movie just came out 2 weeks ago or so too. At least it worked fine for Kill Bill Vol 1 tonight (epic movie ) and it better not crap out on me tomorrow night for Wolverine. Too bad about Jaws though that movie is a classic

Nope, it was from the library.
At least they have another copy.

I had those issues a lot with my old Sony DVD player. The PS3 has had very limited issues with skipping. The PS3 rocks for playing movies.

I actually have an old Sony DVD player, like one from 2000.
That guy declined the James Bond sets again. I'm thinking about sending him a PM. I could understand doing it once, but twice?
lol I got matched up for one of those sets (the only one I'm missing...#4), and it was rejected within 5 minutes...

A lot of new things will be happening...
1. In October, I will by watching at least one horror movie a week, but probably more. Possible movies include Shaun of the Dead, Army of Darkness, Psycho, Scream, Halloween, and Night of the Living Dead. I really like zombie movies where they kick a lot of zombie ass, so recommended some of those. WARNING: I'm easily scared, but I will try to sit these ones out.
2. I know a lot of the movies I get from the library don't get watched. To remedy this, I will only be getting movies on Thursdays - not that anyone cares.
3. I'm seriously going to start going through the 100 Laughs and 100 Films lists. After those, I will be doing the IMDB Top 250.
4. I'm really going to try to watch your recommendations. I've watched a few and those are the ones I wanted to see before they were recommended. I feel like I must watch some others for my loyal readers .
Although not really scary movies, Peter Jackson made some great (and hilarious) horror films when he was just stating out as a director.
Check out Bad Taste and Dead Alive - especially Dead Alive (also called Braindead in some parts) if you're looking for a zombie flick.

Well, Resident Evil 1 2 and 3 are the best zombie movie's i've seen. Also Zombieland is coming out soon (im not sure when) and that looks pretty good.
Zombieland looks like it's going to be a comedy, so I might watch that one too (and like Wetwillies, I'm easily scared).
