That's pretty cool how each retailer has something unique to offer, though as always, GS's seems a bit lopsided with the 2 week headstart AND a bonus unlock.
I'm torn on which I'll get, as this is one of the few games I think I'll bother preordering.

For those who are going to preorder Uncharted 2, which preorder bonus are you goign to get?

I was going to go with Amazon, because I was under the impression it was going to be a physical "Hold in your hand" map which would be a nice souvenir/token, but I just foudn out, it's actually just a video that you get a code for and download to your PS3.
Gold weapons are just fluff for me. The currency multiplier isn't all that exciting. The early multiplayer demo is nice, but I doubt any multiplayer progress you do will carry over when the full game is released and it's not really somethign extra, it's just something early.
I loved Uncharted 1 and this game by far is my most anticipated one in awhile, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed by the preorder bonuses. They just keep getting lousier and lousier it seems. I may stil go with Amazon just because it's $3.50 off retail, and tax free, so a ~$8-$9 savings.
I know I want this title so I dug for this thread to find the preorder bonuses again, and I'm disappointed to hear the map isn't physical. That was definitely going to be my choice.
I still might get that one though if it's a tad cheaper, and I'm sure the map will help. On UC1 I found them all the hard way; no guides!

The video treasure map that came as a preorder bonus for preordering Uncharted 2 from Amazon was a complete disaster piece of crap. Of 100 treasures of the game, it only is a map showign you the location of SIX. the first six in the game.
Anyways, if you preordered and got this crappy bonus item, if you write to Amazon and complain, they have been acknowledging that the item was crappy and are giving $5 gift certificates to those who ask.
