I have to agree with you on this one. There was no plot and it was ridiculously hard and this game served absolutely no purpose. I expected more from Atlus as they usually put out excellent games especially in this genre. I immediately tried to get rid of it after I received it but had to hold onto it for several months because no one wanted it which made me even more mad at this game.

larpi: Least favorite: Hands down, Baroque. I usually like Rogue style games, but the plot is almost non existent, and pretty much everything about it (aside from the concept) grates on me the wrong way. I have to agree with you on this one. Shhh..! I've received Baroque, but haven't had time to play it yet.
A rogue-like from Atlus with weird apocalyptic themes? What could go wrong?? But I've only heard bad news about it so far! Luckily I used Goozex instead of buying -- so the "it's not real money being spent" argument makes me feel a little better.

First game sent : DDR Extreme 2 for PS2. My main reason for joining the site was to exchange all of my old music/dance games I had for some modern PS3 games and other old games I never had a chance to play.
First game received : Katamari Damacy for PS2. It was okay.
Favorite received : Uncharted for PS3I expected an average FPS, but instead I got a beautiful game combining shooting, platform-jumping, and some puzzles here and there.
Least favorite received : The Legend of Zelda : Wind Waker for Gamecube.Wind Waker arrived scratched up and the first two dungeons were frustrating to clear. After sailing for what seemed like 5 minutes, I couldn't force myself to enjoy it anymore. Because of the scratches, I couldn't trade it, so I trashed it.

some people loved this game- I was not one of them and apparently neither was someone else who posted before me and I used their quote. Its a very strange title that just has you running from floor to floor fighting enemies with no story. When you die they start you on floor one again at level 1 and you will die alot because it can become very difficult fighting the enemies alone but even worse especially since your health meter is constantly depleting the whole time just from running a maze on each floor around trying to find a portal to get the next floor. Its kind of almost like Persona 3 but without the good graphics and everything that made it fun taken out of it. Hopefully you will be one of few the people who did enjoy this title.
