360 or ps3?

No I don't... Lets say you buy/rent/goozex brothers in arms hells highway on the 360. Why get it for the PS3, online is better for the 360 and the single player campaign is the same on the PS3. Also you have to redo all progress. Why even bother? Trophies? Do you not want to pay for xbox live? I dont understand...

some of the games listed here arnt even exclusive to 360, and are also on PS3

these are just  ones i'm sure of, off the top of my head.

Postal 3

lost planet 2

and then some like alien hominid, and Bully. were already on ps2.

If the game is good and i dont mind doing the story over again, then i dont mind playing it over again on PS3. I like getting achievements and i like getting trophies. But i only play MOST games on PS3 if i liked them on 360. I will also play exclusives like uncharted, killzone 2 and INfamous. I dont think im the only one who plays the same games on 360 and PS3, and if I am, I dont believe it!

so i'm pretty sure i still like the 360 versions more, for the controller and acheivements. but a lot of multi platform games on ps3 are cheaper than the 360 versions on goozex, point wise. are the 200 extra points you save by getting the ps3 version worth it?

From what you read about it? Oh you mean from this Xbox centered thread? 

Better graphics depend on certain multiplatform games where developers were lazier on ps3, its really rare nowadays.

PSN is just as good as 360, most games actually use dedicated servers on it, and yes i know about party chat. It's also free, something thats smart because if i dont pay to play online on my PC, why would i do it on a console?

Gamesharing, share the cost of any psn game with 4 other people.

Exclusives like infamous, lbp, killzone 2, socom, etc.

Blu-ray, Wi-fi built in, already rechargable controllers, hard drive and easily swappable for a larger laptop harddrive

But yes, lets point to Halo as the reason

I personally use my PS3 for exclusives and Blu-ray.  I buy all multi-platform releases for my 360.

I actually like the cases better for PS3 games; which is probably a terible reason.

Also, my brother has a PS3 so I try to pick up games with online multiplayer (Soul Calibur IV, Orange Box, etc.)

So, I guess free online with people I know is my deciding factor.  But if 360 changes to sleeker game cases, I could be swayed.

You can easily swap a dead (rechargeable) battery, which I've had to do once in three years.  I've had to buy a new PS3 controller because the one that came with the console has about a 3 hour battery life.  Yay!

Nope, Sony was the only one to do that.  Not even Nintendo thought of it.  That said I was mightily disappointed when the battery in my Sixaxis crapped out on me.  If something goes wrong with the batteries in my Wiimotes or my 360 controllers I just swap them out with another rechargeable pack, but to each their own.

i've never had a problem with the battery life on my ps3 controllers, they'll go for days for me; slightly sticking left analog stick however is a different story
