joshmrc: im not looking at it from the sellers point of view im the buyer wishing more idiot sellers would use it. i buy the shipping from the website which is about 3.50 and it includes DC so i dont care about receiving points i give points to reputable sellers who use it and help make the system better. you seem to be a tried and true member to this site why dont you try to get goozex to make DC mandatory. or is talking shit a better use of your time

DC is strictly for the SELLER'S OWN GOOD, and does NOTHING to benefit the BUYER, which is the colossal point you're not seemingly understanding. DC does not ensure that you're going to get your package (they could just throw in some numbers if it were forced), that you're going to get the complete package (sure is useful to track that empty case), or even the right game. I buy DC with every shipment to cover MY ass from a scam by the BUYER saying 'Never saw the package' and I can then call him out.
The ONLY benefit of DC as a BUYER is the ability to track your package sometimes, and confirm it's been sent out. It doesn't protect you, your points, your invested time, nor does it make a crappy seller a good one suddenly. There's no reason to mandate it.
Lastly, you've already been told there are cheaper ways to ship than $3.50-$4 a package, so we'll not retread that.
joshmrc: even including the cost of gas you can get more cash than you could points from a 100 point game at a game store. as a seller you would pay over 30 dollars to ship the games netting you 50 dollars worth of points. doesnt a newly released used game cost about 50 at a GS. beats the hell out of waiting months just to accumulate that many points assuming every single trade goes as planned and people want those games

Asserting BS as fact does not make it any more true. We're all here because we ALL KNOW that that is not the case. No reseller is going to give you that much for your games, and GS often is hesitant to give out more than a dollar for many titles that would go for 100 points here.
If you've got such a 1 in a million inside deal with game shops, then Goozex is apparently not for you.

I am still trying to figure out why the tracking has to conform. Let tracking be itself for once.

I'm still waiting to hear how DC benefits the buyer. It might be interesting to see where the game is, but DC is no confirmation that it will actually arrive, or even that it was even sent, if the seller puts fake numbers in.
It is only to benefit the seller. And many of us, myself included, know the risks when we send games without it.
And that's $10 I won't spend unless the buyer's feedback history tells me I absolutely have to
Yea, but it really isn't even that good for that, USPS is horrible about updating it. I've had tracking not even show up in the system until after it arrived at it's destination.

Because if it doesn't shape up, I'm going to smack it around again.
I refuse to conform. Track THAT!
edit: I apologize for any future posts I make today...I am apparently in a fiesty mood.
