Seems like this is live now. New request now buttons and snazzy looking request/offer popup. Now I have to read about this feature as I haven't been....

Snazzy indeed. It will certainly help when browsing games.

Unfortunately, it only seems to work for items that are not in your Queue. Therefore, once you place something on hold, it's no longer helpful. Hopefully they'll extend the alert to your on-hold items.

Okay, I've played around with this feature and it is indeed helpful. I really like the new pop up; however, I have a suggestion. I notice that when the popup appears it defaults to the best available copy, so even if your default is set to full package, it will default at the next best available option. Considering I never request anything below full package, I would much rather the default stay as full package so I can easily put it on my queue that way. I'm sure doing this would also prevent people from accidentally requesting the wrong condition when they want full package. That being said, I like the fact that the number of copies available comes up with the popup as well.

Very cool option.    There have been a number of times I've been matched on something where it should have been clear to the person it would have been an instant match and it ends up being a time out.    Hopefully this cuts down on that.

One thing we have lined up for down the road is to display/notify you of the items in your queues that are available for instant match. 

How is it possible that something is available in Instant Match, but I'm not matched?  It will be b/c of different shipping conditions.  One thing you may want to do now is go through your requests queue and see if you have any instant matches at Disc Only or Disc + Manual.  On the offers side, check if any items in your On Hold queue are available for instant match and for quick points!

I'm glad you mentioned this as I was considering suggesting such.  I was looking through my Requests Hold list wondering if I could nab any games quickly.  The reverse of that (Held Offers) would be nice too!

I always keep my default option as Full Package. I went to GTA IV to try it out. It is onl available as disc only. When the window popped up, it auto-selected Disc Only to try and get me an instant match. I don't like that. Is there some way to keep it auto-selected on Full Package, even if there isn't a copy available that way?

That's my only problem with it too. I'd like to know as well.

i was not aware of this, not a fan of it either
