I hear you dude. I once sent a cart only GBA game in a bubble mailer and got "The overall packaging was sub-par" or something or other, anyway's it was a +5 transaction. Kinda sucks, I mean what else was I suppose to do? Put it in a $5 priority box with foam peanuts? If I had really wanted to I could have sent it an an envelope with a couple stamps on it....

Just do what I do, If you get matched with the same person again, deny the trade. Some people just expect waaay to much.

I have gotten two +5 over my time with Goozex. One was reversed because I went above and beyond for the user and they didn't respond to PMs. The other I got a +5 for was for Braven Fencer Mushashi. I sent out a black label PSX game with tissue holding the discs in so they wouldn't fall out. The only thing wrong with it was there was a hairline crack on the case, which the user knew about. They still docked me for it despite knowing it was there. I was pretty ticked off.

I got a +5 (Quality of package not as good as expected) on a full package game that was intact and in great shape and was sent and received within three days. No explanation either.

Some people are just dicks.

So yeserday I sent him a pm basically saying, I was just wondering why you gave me a +5. I see your new so when you leave that feedback people's feedback score only gets +5, you should only really leave it if there is something messed up with the disc, manual, case, or artwork.

I probably won't dispute since it's a +5, but at least have the courtesy to leave a comment. Wait no, not the courtesy ti leave a comment, the decency.

I've gotten two +5's. The first really irritated me, because the game was brand new (just minus the shrinkwrap). The second one was also new. I had it listed as game/instructions only, and put the disc in a nice jewel case (it was the Forza game that was bundled with MUA). However, I wonder if the person forgot that they DIDN'T ask for full package, and docked me for lack of the original case. It would have been nice if both of these people had commented on what they though was wrong with the package.

I think some people have high expectations even for a used game and may think that giving +5 is still positive feedback. Some may think it is better than nothing.  But unwarranted +5 based on mood or lack of justiication should not be done.

I got a +5 for Ratchet & Clank (PSP) the other week even though the guy said the game didn't work.  Thing is, he just gave a +5 without explanation.  After PMs, he said that he just got a blank screen.  After a couple more PMs, I figured out that he's running custom firmware. 

So I basically got a +5 for a game that was in mint condition because he couldn't physically run the damn thing on his PSP.  Pissed me off a little but it's better than getting a negative because it won't work.

I got a neg last year from someone even though the game was sealed and brand new.   It was only a 150 point game but I have a strong feeling he scammed me out of the game.

I got another +5 because the person accidentally hit +5 instead of +10.  I didn't know you could fight it at the time.

Hey guys update: aftr sending a 2nd pm as a reminder he responded, "It was a mistake, im new to this site ok. But why is it such a big deal, you still got ur points?"

I forwarded a copy of all are pm's to goozex and a short note a few days ago, and today I have a +10 for that trade. YAY!

some people take pride in it; i know i like to know that i provided the user with a quality product.  Hell, i just now denied a trade after noticing that the manual was water damaged

Early in, those numbers are HUGE.  They play a large factor in getting the restaints of early Goozedom off your back, what with InstaPoints, more trade slots, etc.  Once you get past the 150ish mark though, when you've 10ish slots per side and a nice buffer away from the InstaPoints threshhold (score > 20), then +5 or +10 is pretty irrelevant, as the perks past that are nominal. 

Still, I'm at 20 with perfect +10s, and while I won't go TOO crazy over a +5, I've yet to send out a game that I thought even remotely warranted it, so it would be a bit offensive to say the least.  I take pride in very prompt trading of high quality games.

It's kind of a big deal when you get a +5 for a bull**** reason, or no reason at all. The feedback is meant to allow other users a glimpse at how a trade with you will most likely turn out. A bunch of +5s might have some users thinking you don't take care of your stuff, and they might decline to trade with you. Conversely, a bunch of +10s instills confidence. Granted in the end a positive is a positive, but it all boils down to inaccurate/inappropriate feedback for services rendered.

luckily i havent received any +5 yet.. its not fair sometimes but oh well.. i think you should just keep trading and keep a good communication between you and the other user.. this will hinder any misconceptions and the +5 instead of a +10.
