i have been doing the main quest and i havent been doing very fun things yet. Everyone says that morrowind is better than oblivion but i dont see it yet.  I just had to talk to people in vivec.

Maybe it just isn't your time of game.  Or maybe it is just a little to dated to enjoy.

I think that its probably the fact that the graphics are so outdated.  In Morrowind unlike in Oblivion there is much more to do and the character classes stand themselves apart further than in Oblivion. Its also much harder and full of glitches though which can also make it seem less fun.

I'd definitely give it a little more time to see if it grows on you or not, but Morrowind may not be for you.

Morrowind does have alot more depth than Oblivion and it's a game you can lose yourself in for long periods of time.  I sank in a good 200+ hours between the PC and Xbox versions, much of it just exploring and trying to find out of the way areas.

The graphics, glitches, lack of a true fast-travel ability and some difficult to follow quests can be a turnoff after playing Oblivion, but Morrowind is a true beast of a game if you can get into it.

well if you contract the vampire disease and don't cure yourself before you turn your running speed and jump height increase dramaticly. but it kinda sux only being able to go out at night and plus the town people will usually be afraid of you and it is much harder to barter for stuff.....man I miss that game lol.

If you're just following the main quest, you're not going to enjoy yourself.  Morrowind was awesome because of how you're allowed to stray from the beaten path and explore the world organically.

Morrowind beaten in 7:30.  That's seven minutes and thirty seconds.

Main quest? I ended up doing a whole bunch of side quests before really embarking on the main quest.  I don't remember how far I got in the main but I know that so far I had a mansion out in the boondocks somewhere with lots of loot in it, and I did a quest that had something to do with a Guar.  I think I was supposed to do something to someone and decided to spare their life for their Guar.  I ended up having it follow me all the way back to my house.  I had to trap him within the walls surrounding the house by standing on top of the walls and jumping off the side.  So from then on I had a pet guar named Corky!

Actually, I was just looking for the quest and I found it. It's called "Pay your taxes!!"
