Hello all,

 

Well, I guess after a bunch of good trades one eventually had to go bad. Here is the situation...

 

Around the 19th of June I was matched up to receive a game. Soon after the seller accepted the trade, and put it would mail within 3 days. I soon received an email saying the seller wanted to cancel the trade, the reason being, was that "his printer was out of ink" and he couldn't print out the mailing label, and couldn't ship it out will monday (the 22nd of June).

I responded back that I didn't have a problem waiting till monday, and did he still want me to cancel it.

 

He said no, he would ship it out...

 

Monday comes...Tuesday comes...I dont here anything. On Wednesday (June 24th) I write to the seller, asking if the game has shipped. He wrote back, apologizing and saying he was working a lot, the game hadn't gone out, but he would mail it that day.

I hear nothing for almost a week. I wrote him on Tuesday (the 30th) asking about the game, and still haven't heard from him.

 

I just got an email from Goozex, saying that this transaction will automatically close ion 5 days.

So how do I proceed form here?

The option for a trade cancellation is still next to the game, can I still cancel it? Will me canceling the game afect me in anyway? For example, if I cancel it, will I loose my spot in the cue, and get put to the back of the line?

 

Or do I leave a negative feedback, and say I never got the game?

before the transaction closes - leave a negative feedback. If the game comes after the negative is left you will still be able to change it. You will eventually get your points and token back and place in line as well as long as you dont delete it from your list and replace it there.

I wouldnt cancel it because he may have sent the game and it may be on its way already and #2 he needs the negative feedback so he might learn a lesson to not do that to somebody again. Plus if theres a pattern of him doing thing likes this then he may need to be punished for it.

Leave negative before Goozex closes it then if the game comes afterwards you can email feedback@goozex.com and have them change the feedback to what it should be...

If you accept the cancel you will lose your space in line...

HE is brand new to Goozex, when I looked at his rep it was Zero as buyer and seller.

Thanks for all the help...it still has 5 days, I'll wait till day three, and if I havent gotten it by Saturday Ill leave negative feedback.

Yes, it is true that it was his obligation to ship the game within the 3 days he said, but to have an excessive punishment for a new user over one negative is not encouraging the user to stay with the community of Goozex and actions should be taken politely and as mature as possible keeping the transcation professional
