ZachT, a Goozex user, has developed a dashboard widget that can be posted on your Mac desktop and show your Request list. This way, you can always be updated on what is going on with your requests, directly from the desktop of your computer!

Cool! Can we get one to work with Windows Vista Gadgets? Show us PC gamers some love!
As much as people love to hate on new Microsoft OS's, and I'm one of them...I'm finding Vista remarkably stable and useful. So yes, somebody get on a Vista version. Many thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I haven't made the leap to Vista on my PC...so I can't really develop for it. I can maybe look into doing a Google widget, if anyone is interested in that...

That is really cool - I have been using the Mac side of my MacBook Pro most of the time recently and would love to see this!

Cool! I've been using it today at work. I do have two suggestions though.
1. Make if a little smaller. It takes up too much space.
2. Make 2 tabs at the top so you can easily switch between Requests and Library.

Agreed to both - it is a big screen hog ... I'd be fine with a text list.
widget looks good
i agree with the above.
also you can save some room by moving the system icon next to the game name and moving the columns together.
A text version would be nice and might be even lighter on system resources. i got a 12" ibook and this widget is massive. Fantastic work!
Hey guys, thanks for the feedback, I'm definitely interested in what people want in this thing. This is my first time banging around with building widgets, so it's definitely a learning process too.
I made it larger because I was having issues with long names running over the images...
As far as improvements I see for it, I'd like to make it resizable (seemingly harder than one might think...but there are instructions out there...just need to find time to follow them). A text-only option is a good idea. I can probably also re-do some of the backend javascript...I believe every time it refreshes, it pulls the images down again...yucky, but it's based on Apple's widget code.
Keep the feedback coming...I'll definitely iterate it!
Hey ZachT,
It's Mark from the Goozex Team, thank you for the hard work, initiative and just general coolness of creating this widget! I can't tell you how excited we were when we saw it for the first time...
Just wanted to share my thanks about the widget!

Duh, where are my manners?
Thanks ZachT, You've done and awesome job! It's actually REALLY useful at work just getting a quick glance at my account.
The widget looks really nice. Might have to give it a whirl at work.
