Thanks for the offer on trading points/tokens, but for now I'm gonna let them sit.  Like I said I'm not FULLY giving up gaming or Goozex, just cutting back a whole hell of a lot.  Chances are there will eventually be something I want to use those points for, so might as well just let them stick around.  I might be surprised with something really cool down the line.

for what it's worth, I lost weight when I picked up swing dancing :)

might want to check it out. that's how I spend much of my non-gaming time now.

best of luck-I've lost like 40 pounds now and weigh in at about 110 myself, back at my fighting weight, woot. it can be done.

Good suggestion on swing dancing. I'm actually looking into either a gym membership or joining the YMCA.  The YMCA has a pool and I'd be able to get back into swimming.  It's sad that in High School I was on the swim team (still kind of a fatty though) and now I'm probably nearing 400 pounds.  I know a LOT of my weight is muscle, but too much of that is still fat and I need to handle it.
I can't thank everybody enough for the well wishes, the people buying stuff or the people who just PM me here on Goozex with advice or encouragement.  It really does mean a lot to me.

As a quick notice, I DID add a handful more games.  Some classic GB games, my wife's DS games she wants to unload and Seaman for Dreamcast.

Also, if you got a few extra bucks, check out some of the albums released by OneUp Studios.  Fantastic game remixes and arrangements.  You owe it to yourself to buy The OneUps albums.  I personally guarantee if you don't like the album, I'll pay you the cost you paid.  That's how much I stand behind this band (hell, they played my wedding!!)

Sorry, I'm not trading games.  I'm selling.  I have no use for other games right now.
If you dont' do paypal, you can send a money order, but it'll obviously slow things down considerably.

 

Also, I got the dev system when I traded a copy of Persona 2 to my buddy Dale North a few years back.  Looks just like a normal GameCube (with the addition of a region switch on it) but it's teal colored.  It doesnt' play retail games at all, so this is pretty much just a collectable.

Also, if you haven't taken a look at the list yet, you should check it out. Just tonight I had a $600 sale involving Valkyrie Profile, Arc the Lad Collection, SMT: Digital Devil Saga complete set with both games and a bunch of other stuff.  The good stuff is moving quick, but there is still a bunch of great stuff left.  By the end of this week, if I have stuff on hold from people I haven't heard back from, they will be released back unto the world.  Lots of people making offers and then not moving forward so there's gonna be a lot of great stuff back up for grabs soon.

Hey I know how you feel, I'm 23 and have but on a few pounds after getting out of the Navy and although I am under 225lbs still I know that I need to get out there being active again. Maybe I should do something like this although just sell off my older systems like my Dreamcast, Modded Xbox, PS2, and GC.
