Catastrophic: Kenny007: Really? I traded that after near ripping a PS3 controller in half....and that was on Easy. Seth's difficulty ramps quickly to ungodly. The best I was able to do was beat it on Normal, but only after scaring the neighbors with loud 2am profanities. I'm actually glad to read a lot of comments like these. I rented SF IV a month ago or so and I went through arcade mode on Normal and could not beat Seth with anybody, I literally spent an hour and a half continuing and losing to him. It was ridiculous. I really thought I lost my touch in fighting games. In the end, even on Easy I could only beat Seth with my fav. character, Ken. It was then that I decided not to buy the game.

First night, Seth was whipping my ass even with the stick. But the more you play, it starts slowing down again. I'm pretty sure I could beat it on normal with a controller. I let my buddy use my fightstick, and he used to be a worthy challenger and I was still kicking his ass with the controller.
There's been quite a few games I thought I'd keep forever. I actually got rid of a couple of them. :(
1. Megaman Battle Network 2 (best game ever. I had almost every chip, but clicked restart one time and I had to beat the game all over again. So I was so upset I stopped playing it).
And since you've been talking about SF IV, I can't wait for Tekken 6. I love the Tekken series, all others I don't care for like Street Fighter, etc. I remember Tekken 2 on PS1. I beat the entire game, unlocked every hidden character like Gon. Best character was Eddie. But I knew all of Yoshimitzu's moves. Like one where he stabbed himself, but if someone was behind me and got hit they'd get hurt over 75%.
All my games I would never get rid of, EXCEPT Mario Strikers Charged, Naruto: Broken Bond, Pokemon Platinum(too much of the same), Viva Pinata, Worms: Open Warfare 2, Chrono Trigger DS(I know its supposed to be one of the best RPGs ever, but I don't like it). Any other game in my collection I would regret later. I learned that from the many years I would trade-in any game I beat.
Yes, I went there.
Kenny007: DrJ079: I wouldn't say never, but I won't trade my copy of SF IV for as long as I have a system that will run it. Really? I just beat it on Hardest diffifculty with Fei-Long. I just kept spamming the same attack. Took me about 10 times to beat Seth. I am no hardcore fighter game fan either. xD
Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX)
Diablo
Diablo: Hellfire
Diablo II
Dialo II: Lord of Destruction
Sensing a trend? I think I still have my beta discs for D2/LoD and WC3. :D
I still have the box and everything for X-Com: Apocalypse but I just don't know where it is. It doesn't run on Vista/W7 anyway without a major hassle.
I have brought to light a monstrous abnormality, but I did it for the sake of knowledge. Now for the sake of all life and Nature you must help me thrust it back into the dark again.H.P. Lovecraft"The Case of Charles Dexter Ward"
ejamer: Ikaruga (GameCube) -- I just haven't played a better shmup on a home console. Beautiful. Deadly. Incredibly difficult. This game is a classic for good reason, because they just don't come any better. I can't imagine trading this gem away

That would be mine.
I also really love shmups in genral. I'm horribly, horrible at them, but there's something about them that just keeps me comming back. They almost seem like a more pure form gaming to me in that they can be elegantly simple, yet utterly deep. This is kinda of similar to how I view truly good silent era movies as being the purest expression of cinema. The german expressionists were really on to something back then.
COD4
I have two as well:
Final Fantasy Vii, which I've kept through all three incarnations of the PlayStation.
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the first RPG I've ever played and the first game that had me laughing out loud.
I'd never trade Marvel vs Capcom 2. Not only because its rare, took me a long time to find (without being gauged on price), but because its so much fun fighting with my favorite comic book characters.
Rogue Squadron 2, Resident Evil for the Gamecube, and Rebelstar.
Battlefield: Bad Company. Because it's my go to game for online multiplayer. And, yes, I do prefer it to COD4!
Also, I think I might also not trade out WWE Legends of Wrestlemania. Even though it's not that great of a game, I have a feeling there's not going to be a WWE Legends of Wrestlemania 2 or WWE Legends of Wrestlemania 2010, so I think it's going to be one of a kind.
Final Fantasy XII Collectors Edition - Was a birthday present from my aunt that died recently so there is no way I would ever trade it)
That's pretty much it, I got others I am not currently trading but only cause I haven't finished playing them yet.
