I know this thread is very helpful to put games to their exact point value but, no one really looks at it. Do games automatically get lowered point value if there are more "offers" than "requests"? OR does a Goozez employee need to do this task. The thread might be useful but no one seems to look at it to update the point value of the games.
Supply and demand does have its role in the price calculation, though not as much as I'd like to see personally. Much is automated I believe, but the staff reserves the right to manually update prices as well.
As far as that suggested points thread, it has lost quite a bit of credibility as most 'suggestions' are easily dismissed when you look at the relevant data, and generally amount to nothing more than 'I want game X but I'm too cheap to pay its going rate'.

They also aren't going to manually adjust prices unless they are way off. A large majority of those suggestions are for 50 to 200 point changes which is something the algorithm can handle.
Something that is off by 400 or so would be and has been adjusted.
