I am thinking of going with a X1 from Walmart.com for about $47, $37 after my $10 gift card from Preordering MW2 360. Is that a good price for a pair of X1's? Also do they work with normal TV or DVD player? I watch TV mostly during the night and I have to keep it down because everyone else is trying to sleep. I have a SD TV if that makes any difference.
as long as you have a headphone out or red and white audio out on your tv you should be good and i assume if you are using analog audio or headphone out it should work with the whatever sound is coming through your tv. you might want to check out those xlc turtle beaches too if that is all your using them for.
I looked at the XLCs and not being able to adjust the audio from the game and the voices via XBL separately is a major turnoff for me. Thank you for opinion anyways.
Honestly why can't the 360 just use Bluetooth on their wireless headsets like the PS3 does, its so much more efficient, and no random cut-offs

I love my x3s that I bought off Stootsi.com about a year ago for $50 shipped. They definitely help in games like CoD4 and Gears 2. I love being able to hear others trying to sneak up on me, only for them to find me ready to pop them in the face.

Not a problem. I am enjoying my X1s very much and like G-Nitro said they make a world a difference in games like Call of Duty 4 and Gears. Well worth the $40 spent on them shipped. People sound SO much differently with the X1s then they did with the crappy 360 head set that comes with all systems. Mafafu sounds way different, not sure if that is good or bad
