It's probably split between Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Morrowind. Fallout 3 and Oblivion are close, but I logged way....WAY....more hours into Morrowind.

I spent several hours everyday of my freshman year at college in at the arcade playing MVC2. I figure that's a little better because at least I was being social. I didn't really talk to anybody the entire time I was playing Morrowind.

I think I logged more hours on it because it was so broken. I spent days buying and selling stuff, mostly Vivec guard armor, so then I could train my skills instead of waiting for them to actually level up.

I'd start summoning Golden Saints and killing them/letting them kill other stuff for me, then I'd loot their bodies and sell their stuff...I can't believe I still remember all of this about Morrowind.

Easily was Everquest (PC).. from 2001-2008 countless hours.

Console (single player) had to be Sacred 2 (PS3) with nearly 89 hours on Shadow Warrior + 25-30 on other classes but I imagine Demon Souls will make a run for that record. FFVII and Ogre Battle on (PS1) had tons of playtime.

Console (multi-player) Rock Band/Guitar Hero games, Turok Rage Wars (N64), Duke Nukem 3D (PC/360), Timesplitters: Future Perfect (GC), Mario Tennis (GC), Mario Kart (Wii/GC)

so many more I could never think of without looking at my library.

Team Fortress 2, something like 150 hrs. scout, 120 sniper, 80-90 heavy/medic/engie/pyro/spy, 40 demoman. The only class I don't really play is soldier, I have something like 3 hours total for him. This was before I cleared my stats, which I have done so many times I lost track. I don't play too much these days due to lack of time. I have never played an MMO, they look really stupid.

For single player games, I think the most time I've ever put into a game with a timer built in, is Pokemon Pearl. I played 210 hours, and enjoyed only about 10 of them. I only played it because I needed a timesink in between classes. I might not have been enthralled by it, but I certainly turned that game inside out getting every single one of those bastards. I will never, ever play another pokemon game again.

kittybooty:

My Oblivion stats rival those of your Fallout 3.  I've got at least 200 hours logged, 500 some saves.  I've been playing the game for nearly a year now, and I recently got Shivering Isles and Knights of the Round, so... Many more hours and resulting saves to come!

Even though I never played Team Fortress Classic, I'm genuinely surprised to hear you say that you don't(?) enjoy Team Fortress 2.  I signed up with Live because of that game! In my first month I logged easily 70+ hours between the Spy and Pyro classes alone.  I don't play as much now as I did in the summer, but I seriously love that game...

But to be fair, I guess, I never really got what the deal was with Fallout 3.  I hated that game.  =P

So 200 hours logged over a year? My 180 hours for Fallout 3 were played in roughly a month. I guess I really enjoy the game. I was also home sick for most of that time so there wasn't much else to do except sleep. I'm with you on the Add-ons, though. I made the mistake of buying "The Pitt" before I found out about the Game of the Year edition. I tried to get into Oblivion at one point, but both times I rented a copy, the game froze after the "training" level. And it was two separate stores, so I obviously wasn't getting the same copy. I assume the game gets much better after that level. Ha.

If you have the original Half-Life, you should try Team Fortress Classic. If you do, let me know. And it's not that I don't like Team Fortress 2, it just seems more cluttered and complicated than TFC. Also, I get a little flustered and embarrassed playing with experienced players when I am just trying to figure out the blasted controls. If I could get into a match with equally oblivious players trying to learn their way around, I would probably reconsider. I need to get my 360 copy from my brother-in-law. I only have it on the PC right now.

This is going to sound really bad but I had 350+ hours of pokemon peral the really sad thing is I didn't even have them all....... I  was 20 short of all of them and they were pretty much just a few and their evolved forms (I didn't have any of the older games.......)

I spent sooo much time unlocking everything there is to do in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3. Though it isn't very time consuming, I kept playing the game for months. I spent an entire year playing Smackdown vs Raw 2008, creating Caws, unlocking all the features. I would have kept playing EWR Revenge on my PC, but it isn't working properly.

Wow and I thought I played a lot.

I'd say I have about 5 days logged in both CoD: MW, and CoD: WaW MP.  About 200 hours of play in Oblivion, about 100 hours in Fallout 3, and about 80 hours in BioShock.

I've got many more, but it's probably much less time unless you include Madden from 2003-present then we're talking about 200 hours.

It's a good thing MMO's don't count because I probably have 2 days in PlanetSide, 12 days in WoW, and 24 days in FFXI.

I thought I played FFXI a lot until I realized my best friend had 195 days logged.  To be fair to him though, he left it up 24 hours a day whether he was playing or sleeping.

Oblivion 250+, NHL 2004 well over 1000+ no joke, FFVII over 100, Rock Band 2 100s, Bejeweled 2 100+; Probably many more I'm not thinking of at the moment.

I had over 100 hours in Final Fantasy XII. That one sticks in my mind because I had no idea I'd spent that much time until I noticed it.

Then again 6 hours was spent on just that one optional boss, only to die when it was almost dead, and then another 3 hours after getting better equipment.
