They should get Billy Mays or the Shawow guy to advertise their site on tv. That would bring in the peeps and kill the wait for longer in line games. No wait the  Shamwow guy might still be  in prison - then they should get the Pocket Fisherman guy if hes still alive.

There's a new show on Discovery called Pitchmen I think where Billy Mays and some other pitchman hear about products from inventors to pitch for.  Maybe they could get on the show?

I have been using Goozex for a quite awhile and I do like the current system.  If no changes occured, I would be happy.  That being said, I do not think this idea, or some variation of it, is horrible.  There are games I am willing to give 100 points for, but not 150 (Yes, I am a cheap bastard) and not having to go through my wants list every week and moving  games back and forth would not be so bad.  

But again, things as they are now are good, and I like them.  I am pretty surprised by all the venom being sent the posters way.  Some of the critiques are very good, but others are just horrible.  I like spirited debate as much as the next guy, but geez.

ur idea is really dumb your first paragraph talks about not getting the points right away as soon as i accept to mail a game i get the points and they are useable to get games with i dont have to wait

Sadly, I will never get back the hour I just spent reading these seven pages.

On the up-side of things, I can now go back to wasting my valuable time playing video games. OH, and requesting yet more games to waste yet more time. That is unless I waste still more of my time writing my opinion about some issue/topic that some (many) other Gooz-ers have already expressed on my behalf.

@ OP: My sugestion (you seem to like that word) would be to take your million dollar idea and run with it. Build your site from the ground up with all the bells and whistles you could ever imagine to put in it, make it really cool and flashy with an awesome user interface, than wait for all of us Gooz-ers to sign up; than the best part > watch the money roll in as membership soars. [or not]

Truthfully, I was half asleep when I read it, so I probably ended up reading everything twice.

In doing so, I am sure I only caught half of it .... but I am sure it was the unimportant half ... that way I didn't miss anything.

I think this is just an awful Idea and If you think not many people wont stay on Goozex look at the 4,000 some Trades going on at once.

Goozex needs to do something, that much is true.  The "algorithm" is worthless.  There are so many games I will never get here, because they are undervalued and no one is stupid enough to goozex them when they can get $30 to $50 on ebay or amazon, versus 200 points on Goozex.
