I dont think there should be a forth shipping option. If you want the case just ask him/her if they have it, if they dont then too bad a f'in deal with it.

Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine.

This is weird. I was just about to make a similar thread as this - but I decided to do a forum search to make sure I wasn't duplicating a previous thread.

A fourth option would be great. I find it more likely for people to lose their manuals than it is for someone to lose a case. For that reason, I feel it would be better to have a disc + case option. Or, we could even do away with the disc + manual option and replace it with disc + case (but I definitely don't see that happening).

I'd say there's more discussion/consternation about this and the neutral feedback than anything else I see on the forums.

I still maintain that goozex could just get rid of the condition options altogether.  You'd either get a working game or a not working game. Then you'd only need two feedback options, positive or negative. Keep the +5 and +10 for people to complain about cracked cases and what not. This way full package would just be a special bonus and everybody would have to be fine with disc only.

No need for a matrix or anything like that.

Of course, games that require peripherals (music games, etc) would still have to have the peripherals or negative feedback would be in order.

Cutting everyone down to disc only is a recipe for disaster.  From the number of threads complaining about neutral feedback for people who send disc only when full package was expected, we have a fair number of traders who expect full package, or at least manual+disc.

I know my trading would go to zero if I couldn't demand at least a manual.  I generally request full package.  If that takes longer, so be it.

I would hate to receive disc only. It would make trading here pointless for me. I want to play the game but I also want the case and manual.

That would be a great way to destroy Goozex. Most of us are not satisfied with disc only games, and we would all leave if they did that.

Yeah, if I had no option at all as to if I got disc only or full package, I would not use this site.  I don't like playing russian roulette enough as it is on getting a manual, let alone the rest.

i totally agree, if you have a game for awhile and you lose something its probably going to be the manuals. im so surprised they haven't added this feature. i mean really, who loses the case and keeps the manuals??

i would love the disc + case option, personally i like the diea better than the manual, but i dont know where it would place in the system like a lot of other posts because, you are asking for "at least" that so a full package could be matched up with someone who requested disc only....

Manual over Case - Those who want a case, but get manual instead..
Case over manual - those who want a manual but get just the case

If there were a way to keep 3 options, but have the 2nd be like a bullet, where you can request one, or the other

You know how often I consult manuals when I first get a game? Almost never! What game doesn't have a built in tutorial on the first few levels to ease you into the experience? I'd much rather have a case that slides in between the other cases in my collection, showing that I have one more game.Stick out tongue

well honestly I think goozex believes gamers almost always read the manual or will refer to it.  The manual is nice to have, but not always necessary.  I hardly refer to the manual when I play a new game.  It's pretty simple if you just play around with the controls a bit, and yes most games these days have a tutorial stage that is optional or implemented early on.

It would be great if Goozex added the fourth option, disc + case only, if it's not too much of a hassle.  You don't always get complete when buying used, and if game only is currently the last resort, I think we would see a lot more disc + case requests.  It's not that big of a deal, but it would be a nice to have.

I think there should be a disc and case option. I for one, request disc only for most last-gen games (Gamecube and PS2), and it sure is annoying when they come in without a case, so they don't really get shown in my collection. Plus for Gamecube games, it's not like a standard DVD case, it's the smaller disc size, so that makes it really difficult to get cases for them. I really want this option.

If their is a disc+manual option, then disc+case option should definitely be a fourth ;)

I would like to see something like this INSTEAD OF disc+manual on DVD's -- The FAQ, and WordOfGod from the G-Team -- says that "full package" DVD's need not include inserts within the case, but having this as an explicit option would be nice. After all, for DVD's, who's gonna have the inserts if they don't have a case to put them in? Such a scenario seems much more likely with games than with DVD's.
