Maybe Disc+Manual should just be replaced by Disc+Case.
I always thought that would make more sense.

I'd like to see Disc + Case replace Disc + Manual as well.
But then we'd have confusion from people who already have games listed as Disc + Manual and may be unaware of the change. Also, PC-primary gamers (or others) may be more satisfied with Disc + Manual.
I like the idea but maybe i'm having burnout from too much actual and proposed change lately. I say we should just leave it as is for the time being.

Maybe Disc+Manual could be PC, GBA and Mac exclusive...
I voted for the second option, only because I would like them to make sure that neither Disc+Case or Disc+Manual are placed over the other. They should both be equal if this is implemented.
I think we should just leave it alone. We don't want to confuse anyone and I don't think that many people woould request as disc and case.
And this definitly shouldn't replace disc and manual. That's a good option for listing CE+LE games you don't have quite everything to. Also, that would kill me on a lot of GBA games I'm hoping to trade out as disc + manual.
As for the whole mutual exclusive stuff it should be. Full Package matches with first full package. Disc only matches with first offer. Disc and manual matches with first listing as either disc and manual or full package. Disc and case matches with first offer of disc and case or full package.
I've always thought that Disc & Manual shouldn't exist and that it should be replaced by Disc & Case. I know a lot more people who lose the manual before they lose the case...on top of that, i've had a lot more people send me "full package" without a manual than without a case.
But I DO like the idea of keeping "Disc & Manual" for PC/Mac and GBA games. That seems like a good idea there, but having 4 options for everything is just asking for trouble. I say to replace Disc & Manual with Disc & Case, except for PC/Mac and GBA. My official vote.

I would like to get some input on what people think has more value, Manual or Case and Cover Art...

mafafu: Just leave it alone. We already have idiots who can't figure out how to list their games. Giving them more options will confuse their tiny brains even more.

JurassicUtility: I don't really oppose the idea, but if it doesn't really do anything to make trades faster and more efficient it's really not worth implementing.

Why think of an original topic when I can take one from someone else...
I'd say disc + case > disc + manual. A case is always nice to look at and gives the game a proper spot in any game collection. I've never considered the disc+ manual option, because I don't really care for the manual, but I've sometimes hoped there was a disc + case option.
sounds like a good idea to me
One suggestion I had made in another thread way back could really work for this:
One thing Goozex could do to simplify things is to simply have check boxes where it asks the user what they have or want for the game (Game, Manual, Box).
The user then checks off what they have or want and then Goozex lists it properly according to what the user has checked.
That way there is no excuse for either not understanding what each picture means or what a "Box and game but no manual" would fall under as it would all be done behind the scenes.
Then maybe it could be negative as the user would have no excuse for checking off the wrong items as the actual listing type would be done behind the scenes??
This would also help match people with what they want. Either they want the box or the manual when not going for full package.
Definitely would take a case over a manual @_@;

cheeznrice: Who determines where it should fall in the matrix? I think Disc+Manual is > than Disc+Case I'm all for it if they remove the neutral option for receiving less than what was promised and making it a negative. Also, address the bundle listing situation

My thoughts exactly. Get out of my head!!!!
