I disagree with 7 days. I had sent a game recently that wasn't recie ved until the 8th day. I agree 21 days is pretty long, but 7 is too short. I think 12-15 days would be fine.

They have more than 7 days to get the game there. The first warning comes at 7 days. I believe it is 14 days total now within the same country.

7 days is more than enough. I've yet to have a game arrive 7 days after I clicked the 'I'll send within X days' button.

If you delayed, you deserve the negative, but then again, it's not really a negative is it? As soon as that game arrives it gets flipped and everything is good. Ideally the negative posting will get your head on straight for future shipments.

while I was for this to weed out the people who are new sellers that just hold up trade slots, it does seem that some are abusing the 7 day feedback. If people use media mail, it can take 7-10 days to get there. People should refrain from leaving negatives until the 2 day warning if they are reputable sellers. Otherwise, Goozex should consider it as feedback abuse

Thanks for all the feedback. I see some people are differing on the amount of days it should be, and I agree. I say 14. And yes, I know it's my fault I procrastinated a bit, but why does it matter if it's a little late. And I know I should have sent it, but do I seriously deserve a negative. He could've contacted saying either 2 of the following,

1. Cancel Trade

2. Wait it out/at least let me know.

And also, I'm not sure if I should send it now. It was going to be Monday that I'd send it, (since it's the weekend. I was going to send today, but I was out on my boat ALL today, I even got stuck in a sandbar). Anyways, I'm going to dispute to see what this impatient person wants to do about it. I myself just waited 18 days for a game, but it got here. Did I care, NO! It was in great condition and it's not like I don't have other games to play.

edit: And look at his tool comment he put for negative (none of it's true)

Did not receive game even after this guy said multiple times he would send it out. He even commited to sending it and after much hassle got back to me on Xbox live and told me he sent it out. This Trader is HARD as hell to get a hold of and only eventually responded to me when i found his XBL tag and PMed him on live...Gamr is STILL not here. Received games that were sent by other people 4 days after this guy commited to sending. Poor trader and Horrid representation of the community. Will NOT trade with again given the opertunity.

First off, I never said I sent it. Second, how am I HARD to get ahold of? He never PMed me, only talked to me over XBL and I answered him right after he sent each message in less than a minute. From when I did actually say I planned on sending it (I truely was busy that day too) it wouldn't have reached him in time. And alittle harsh at the end. I would flame him, but I'm not going to (because a mod will edit it anyway)

Why are you throwing such a hissy fit about this. When the game arrives the negative will be reversed. If you had shipped the game on time you wouldnt have this problem right now. Sure the buyer could have waited a couple more days to leave the negative but from the sounds of it it wouldnt have mattered considering it seems you still havent sent the game which means he will be lucky to recieve it by the 14 day window at this rate.

If you still haven't sent the game, then technically, yes, you do deserve a negative. And it should be reversed once he gets the game. The buyer most likely felt like he was getting the run-around and decided you had no intentions of sending the game. If that's the case, then why wait any longer than he has to to get his points back rather than tie them up in what he sees as a bad trade--especially since he definitely won't be getting any mail on Sunday or Monday (Memorial Day). And you won't be sending the game out on either of those days for the same reason.

The current rule is automatic feedback will be left after 15 days; the buyer can leave negative as early as 7. You have 72 hours to dispute the negative, but I can't imagine the Gteam is going to reverse the feedback until the user actually receives the game.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about Memorial day. Duh! Anyway, I sent him a message through the dispute asking if he still wants it or not. I'll have to wait and see, w/e

The lesson learned is send your games by the date you agree to send them by and you won't have any problems. Also contacting the other person and telling them you won't be sending it until a week later is a good idea.

7 is too early, I think 10 to 12 days would be great, but 7, if you were to ship a game from US to CANADA, it will not arrive in 7 days, trust me it takes longer.

The dispute system still allows for an additional few days for "game not received" feedback (7 + 7 days) that can be used by the seller to ship a late game.

Um, not really. I have to pick 1 or 3 days. I can't pick anything else. Smartass. ANd if you actually read the thread, you'd see he contacted me over XBL (harrassed me about it actually with like 10 messages) and I told him I'd be sending it out a little late. He never said anything after that.

I actually did read your thread though and I don't see how you can complain when your the one who sent the game a week late. Your lucky that your feedback will be reversed if you decide to send it.

I am kinda curious... How did he harass you? (can you post what he said?) and how many messages did he send you exactly? and when did you did you click the "i will send it in 1 day/3 days" option?

I know i was overseas in Iraq and i received packages within 7-12 days from someone sending them... Surely sending a game within 7 days within the same country should be easy. Especially since you admitted you talked to him on XBL?

I think you probably deserve the negative feedback.

Just you getting "mean" with people answering your own post kinda makes you seem "wrong" in this whole thing

Ok, stop acting like I'm not in the dispute with you ***. And you constantly send messages to me while I'm playing a game. My guess is about 5-10 messages were sent (like paragraphs long too) in like 5 minutes. And you are making no sense on the dispute. Me having my XBL account sent on private (just means people can't see my gamerscore or the games I have) apparently has something to do with the dispute, idk. And stop stalking me on XBL, that's why this site has PMs. Not so you go on XBL, find the persons GT and message them while they're busy. And no shit you think I deserve the negative, you're the one I'm in the dispute with.

Seriously, wtf. m Why are you hiding the fact that you're the one in the dispute with me.

edit: And wtf "again" does that mean. Because I'm getting mean with people means I'm wrong. Please speak english for once.
