I really do enjoy the CoD series... played all but Modern Warfare and World at War...
so... Which of the two has better splitscreen Coop or overall which one is better

Modern Warfare is just way better. I mean, I've played both and I have to say, there's only one I keep coming back to even 1-2 years later. You will not regret going with MW, but either one is good -- I just prefer Modern Warfare more because the gameplay feels a tad more solid.

I just got World at War a few days ago from Goozex and the Co-Op is better on WaW since CoD4 doesn't really have Co Op at all. Other then that CoD4 is better. Nazi Zombies is fun on WaW though. I would get 4 then get WaW, Both games are fun.
I got 2150 points so I may pick up both if I feel adventurous...

If you're getting it on a console, I'm torn. I dont know where the hate for WaW comes from, but its a solid title, and on PC especially, is the better deal.
A buddy of mine who swore by Modern just nabbed Waw the other day, and he's pissed he waited so long to get it. CO-OP, Zombies, and a new Prestige mode (for PC users anyways) make this another solid addition. If you like 4, I don't see how you can't like WaW, but people will still hate on it for whatever reason.

I suggest u only use them for CoD: Modern warfare. If ur curious about Cod: WaW. I suggest u rent it for the Single player experience. The multiplayer however is horrible!

I don't know about the campaign, but it will at least have Special Forces co-op.
