It seems to me like the Styli for the DS easily fall out at random times and get lost.
Sadly I've lost both of mine, dood. Shortly after finding one that I lost, I look to find a few days later that yet another was missing. About a month later I lost my last stylus, dood! worst of all, I have a DS Phat, so the ones I see in stores won't fit in the slot.
So, what about you doods?
The only ones I have ever 'lost' are the extras I gave to my kids ... but then they found their originals so we are replete with all the originals, the bonus items, and the spare 3-pak I bought.
On the DSi I have been using the spare after forgetting the original on my desk after showing someone how the camera fuctioned at work. That one fits looser, IMO.

I've never lost or broken one. As neat as the idea of the DS stylus is, I prefer games that allow me to play without it, so I never take it out of its socket very much.

I haven't lost any yet....my wife, who has only had her DS half the time as I, has already lost hers. This confused me, considering it has such a nice holder to utilize.
....she's also managed to drop it......twice.

I have not lost any. I also don't have any spares ...
My daughter has lost about 10 of them. We started making her pay for her own to try to get her to stop losing them. That didnt work. Recently she lost her ds somewhere in the house. I swear one day we will come across a mouse with a house build out of ds stylus's playing a ds.

I rarely if ever even use the stylus. It's a neat funtion, but I much prefer the D pad, if the option is available. My financee on the other hand, will only use the stylus. She has never lost it.
DISGUSTING STORY AHEAD :
I threw one out on purpose. Why? My sister gave me her stylus she dropped in a dirty toilet. I did not know that. When I was younger, I had a habit of chewing stuff, especially pencils. You can guess what happened, and then she told me about it. I wish it WAS lost.
