Lego games have been out pretty much since the start of PC gaming. What's your favorite?
My personal favorite is the original Lego Racers. The graphics were amazing back then and still are pretty decent today for a cartoonish type game. The bosses, racetracks, and powerups were all fantastic. Each one had strengths, weaknesses, hidden passages, and funny consequences! I think the best part was the build-your-own racer and the fact that your own Lego sets seemed to come alive on the screen. Lego Racers 2 was a great sequel, but there's nothing like the original.
Lego Chess might've been a good runner-up if I had ever gotten the darn thing to work without crashing at the main menu. I remember most Lego games worked just fine while there were a few that just refused to work on the ole PC.
I remember playing Lego Island in 4th grade. Good times.
LEGO Star Wars was my first. My kids played stuff from Humungous, Lucas Learning and so on ... but then, my childhood predates the dawn of PC gaming

Yeah, Lego Island was good...although I think I only played the 2nd one. I got it in a package from Sam's Club or something.

Man, you gotta get Lego Racers then! It's waaay better than Lego Star Wars or any of that new stuff. It's from back before you had to shoot things into little bits to have fun.

C'mon man, use logic ... it isn't possible to predate the dawn of time ... concurrent, maybe, but not predate ...
