I am just upset that this change in policy was annouced so far ahead of time without recourse from the community. If Goozex wanted feedback about a price points increase then they should of had a thread about it hypothetically but if they mean to do it anyway why the long gap between the act and the announcement? The only, unintended I am sure, effect is that all games sitting at 1000 points have had all offers put on hold until the price change. This effect has an effect of it's own in that there are a lot more requests than offers active seemingly driving supply down thusly driving the price up. This should of been expected and the annoucement should have been only a week ahead of time at the most, if not afterward.

they announced it this way as last time it was sprung overnight and took a lot of users off guard; users now at least have a chance to prepare for the things of come. Goozex asked for feedback as to make adjustments for what will be implemented. As for the "unintended effect" i have matched for 2 and sent out 1 1000pt game since this was announced, so it's not as powerful as you may believe
dtp11: VICVANCE2011: dtp11: VICVANCE2011:Now, there are 143 games currently at 1000 points. Of those 143, 47 are LE/CE or bundles and 7 of those 143 are untradeable. Assuming that all 47 of those are included in the price increase, there are 89 games left. So then 50 of those 89 games could move up in price. That leaves about 39 left. So all in all we could see a price increase in about 97 games. That seems like a slightly steep number IMO, but I'm sure others would disagree.Using your numbers; 97 out of 30,575 games MAY see an increase… which means 0.3% of ALL games MAY see an increase. And 71% (97 out of 136) of 1000-point games MAY see an increase…However, using zannabianca's numbers; about 50 1000-point games and about 65 (1000-point?) CE/LE games may go up in price… which means about 115 out of 136 (85%) of 1000-point games may go up. How come you got 97 and he got 115 (and your numbers included bundles, while his don't appear to)? Or did he mean ALL CE/LE games (even ones below 1000 points)? But that would contradict his statement that "all games that are currently at or below 950 points won't be affected", but maybe CE/LE or Bundled games are an exception? He also said most 1000-point games won't be affected, however that would mean at least half wouldn't be affected… but both of your numbers indicate the opposite; 71% and 85%, both above half/50% (unless CE/LE or Bundled games ARE an exception to the "at or below 950 points won't be affected" statement). A little confusing!Because there are only 43 tradeable LE/CE games currently at 1000 points. Add that and the other 50 1000 point games that may go up and we could see a price increase in about 97 games. It's really not that confusing. Obviously some CE/LE games under 1000 points will have to move up in price to make the numbers he gave us fit. Which means there WILL be a price increase in some games under 1000 points. It's really not that confusing if you look at what games are currently priced at 1000 points, and then go off of his numbers. All that I did was show was the price increase COULD affect 97/143 of the currently 1000 point games. This is worst case scenario though, so it's anyones guess.Okay, then it's NOT confusing when there are 2 or 3 pieces of information that seem to contradict one another. You're so smart that you can read zanna's mind and assume that when he said "all games that are currently at or below 950 points won't be affected", that actually meant that it's "obvious" some games actually WILL be affected! Joking aside, I wasn't saying your numbers were confusing - they make sense provided you actually counted how many of the 1000-point games were CE/LE or bundled (I didn't check)... I was saying that it is confusing that he gave off contradictory information based on his statements and figures provided.I hope this doesn't count as bickering!

Well, it is really left to interpretation. Since he said that 60-70 CE/LE games would go up in price, and there are only 43 tradeable CE/LE games currently listed at 1000 points, one can only assume that CE/LE bundles are not included when they say that games at or below 950 points won't be affected.

Exactly ... and while the forums had the anticipated 'my head asplode' effect right away, they have now settled down and there is a much more rational discussion going on, almost completely devoid of ad hominen and goatse.

Actually it was before there were turns. Then, someone had to step up and shoot the goats everytime someone asked what a turn was.
Ah, so THAT's why no one's trading Wolverine - I've been stuck at #62 since the day after release (which, granted, was only 12 days ago). Guess I should check out the forums more often.

the fact that it has only been out for 12 days is the reason it isn't really trading yet; though i have seen copies matched and my ps3 copy is currently en route from a goozex user

Yeah, unless you are one of the first 20 or so, it will be a couple weeks at least. Thats why I put all the new games in my requests the day they come out, and put them on hold until I have enough points. Then I'm first in line!
