Thanks for opening up the floodgates for us to voice our hopes and concerns, and having the courage to make a change that you knew would create mixed feedback. That courage, integrity, and willingness to listen to feedback is a bigger 'weight' in my confidence in goozex than any point/value issue. Although business models can determine the possibility of success of a business, I believe that the people determine the actuality of that success.
(In my own career, I've seen bad plans succeed and good plans fail... 90% of the time it's about the drive, courage and integrity of the implementers.)
Thanks for displaying courage, integrity and flexibility to us. If you've made it through 22 pages of our opinions, and I'm sure you have, you very much deserve to read that. You know your algorithm better than any of us, so I"m sure that a good plan and good people will mean great success.

Seeing as this point change is inevidable, regardless of what site users have to say here, has anyone gone beyond the how and why of it to ask about the when? To me, it would seem the gradual 50 points a week change (for the games that will change) would only further slow trading until this change finished. Would things be any better or any worse if this point change just took place overnight? People with games that are changing 50 points a week are going to sit on them until the points top out, but if the same game just went up 200 points overnight, than trading would resume that much quicker.

That's what happened last time, and resulted in the forums being set on fire.
