Trying to cancel a trade as part of a dispute resolution

I recently received a game in the mail a couple days from the 21 day limit, and it discovered it didn't work right. So I contacted the seller and we amicably agreed to cancel the trade, but the seller didn't understand how to at first, and the delay meant I had to give him negative before the trade was closed by the system. However in the dispute phase, we both find ourselves unable to cancel the trade.

He has the points to reimburse me, so I don't know why we are having such difficulties getting this resolved. I can't see the button for cancellation, which I thought I would (I didn't have the option before the trade because it was confirmed shipped).

Talked to Zanna, and he said the cancel option should be available by today or tomorrow. If the dispute is close to being timed out, just email feedback and they will cancel it

I am actually in the exact same situation, except the buyer just wasn't happy with the condition.  But so far there is no option for cancellation as promised in the new cancellation rules. It is really frustrating as I'd like to get this over with

Admin claimed in our dispute we could cancel, yet I still see no option. I'd love to know what they see, because it is not there for me. So still stuck in freaking dispute mode

Beware: what leaks out of Nitro's tentacles may not exacly be tears...  Tongue Tied

In all seriousness, i'll be keeping an eye on this and hopefully there's an easy way to get this resolved.  Haven't had to cancel a trade that's already been initiated but it would be comforting to know the options/controls to do so are available and useable.

I would love to se a way to resolve this.  The buyer has been very gracious in the way he has handled this.  Finding solutions betweeen buyer and seller keeps Goozex running smoothly.

Right about now I wouldn't advise having Goozex manually cancel a trade.  I was the one that was trading with G-Nitro and Goozex's idea of cancelling the trade was forcing positive feedback onto G-Nitro.  Not only did I get kicked out of line for the game, but they said they would manually refund my points and they never did.  I sent them an E-Mail about this a couple days ago and no response so far.

I'm out 40 dollars worth of credit and about 6 months of waiting in line for that game.

I think they saw my E-Mail because it looks like I have my points back.  If you're DOWN 850 points though that makes me wonder if they've just been throwing the same points back and forth between us.

wow.  that's crazy. try escalating the trade or emailing feedback.

The exact same thing is happening in my dispute as well.
