Just got Battlestar Galactica season 1 on HDDVD

Well apparently you're only watching one show next year. Terminator's an almost certain cancellation unfortunately.

 

And Heroe's future  is far from certain. Despite a massive increase in quality the ratings haven't been all that impressive. It's almost a certain lock to come back for at least one more season because NBC said a while back it would, but unless the ratings pick up that will likely be the last.

Such is life.

There's plenty of shows I like, but for the most part, I catch them when I catch them.  Usually miss 90% of the new season.  Like I'm a fan of the Law and Order series', but I maybe see one or two new episodes when they air, and the rest if I happen to be flipping channels, and there's a rerun I haven't seen yet on TNT, I'll watch it.

Currently, Heroes and Terminator are the only two shows I'll make a point to either watch when they air, or to hulu or something if I miss it.

Even if they cancelled all my shows, it wouldn't be too bad.  Just more time for gaming or reading.

95% of everything I watch is on DVD/BRD or HBO On demand.  I rarely keep up w/ TV as well.

I would like to throw a recommendation in for Fringe.

It started off as a forced show where they "re-introduced" the characters every week and the show felt it was being jammed to fit into a tight little over-arching storyline. Now, it has matured into a great X-Files type show with interesting stories and genuinely funny moments.

It is worth watching now, even if you didn't like the original run of 5 or 6 episodes.

They already put  Ice Cube in my A-Team, maybe they can ruin another childhood memory of mine and cast the battlestar galactica chick as Face as well.

Casting a woman as Starbuck is the least of it.....in the new BSG she's a psycho who brings nothing but misery to anyone that gets sucked in by her charm. And if you do watch it...the ending will probably make your head explode with rage.
