Ive been a bit frustrated lately because I've had 3 games that have found a match, but no one is confirming them! I've gone through nearly 10 people, and now for one of the games I have been placed back at 38!

I think there should be some better rules in place where if you don't accept the trade you should get penalized, or not be allowed to register unless you commit to confirm and ship the games you put up!

Normally this wouldn't get under my skin, but it's a real problem on this site, and when it happens so frequently I get a little ticked. You've been waiting weeks (sometimes months) for a game to move down on the list, only to have the people offering the games never confirm them!

I think that it would be a good idea if you add the people who are good about confirming and providing feedback to your friends list.

if they do not accept the trade it does get put on hold; so they do get weeded out eventually; this mainly occurs from people forgetting about accounts and such (new user joins, sees he is way down the list with the offer and just walks away)

as far as not allowing people to register, this is a crappy idea especially regarding what position they are to trade said games

I had to wait 5 members until I got matched for Dark Sector, and 3 for Kingdom under Fire. On my 3rd now for F.E.A.R. Files.

it happens, and hey, I have a huge backlog right now, it doesnt much matter

i would fix that directly in the quote, but apparently that's illegal now

Yes this sometimes happens. For one of the Scene it games, I think it occured 4x in a row. But, usually everything is fine. Some may add a game to their active list and forget to put it on hold. Remember it's spring break and Easter holiday so not everyone is at a computer. They may be out of town or busy spending time with family/friends.

After looking at your trading profile you are still a relatively new user. Unfortunately it does happen some users don't like sending games off to new users. As another said on here Patience is a Virtue. Goozex may take a while for some things but you will see it is often times well worth the wait. Good luck!

I just want to know how you suspected that what you said would be any help whatsoever.  By adding people to confirm will not match you with a person who confirms.

Related to the question... If you have already waited months for a game what's wrong with waiting a few more days.  I find that after a trade times out you are matched with another user almost instantaneously.

Yeah, and it keeps repeating itself. I'm still a little flabbergasted as to how so many people, consecutively, don't confirm and ship the games they have up for offer. I could see and understand 1 out of 10 or even 1 out of 5 games might time out because the person offering them didn't get online to read their email within 24 hours, but 7, 8, and 9 consecutive time outs? I don't understand this.

It's like if I buy something on ebay or amazon, the person has always sent or responded to the sell. I've never seen so many people that just seem to be "not there".

Yeah, lately it's been pretty bad.

Before I always got matched right away, now I've been waiting through about 4 people each game. Almost to the point where while I keep having people pass by me the price of the game goes up.

It's not too big of a deal though, so I don't fret over too much, I know the game will get to me eventually.

Anyway, this doesn't happen too much. Yes, it's annoying, but it's a part of the system that overall works so great.

OP has a point. I just wish that if they didn't want to ship to a newish user, then they'd just reject the damn trade. But I've found that the vast majority of the times this has happened to me, it IS new users. They make an account and walk away so I'm waiting days on end to get to an active user. I'm not pretending to have a solution to this - if there even is one or there "should be" - I'm just commenting on the state of the matter.

Modifying a quote is.

For instance, in my quote above, if I changed anything in the text then I would be a target for moderation. No "fixed that for you" type of posts.
