What are some special touches you add to your packages?

I don't care what happens with the drawings after I send them out. It probably takes only 5-10 minutes to make the quick sketch. It's fun and some people have given me tips for it.

Well I can't draw for shiznit, but I did get matched last week with someone at an overseas military base, so I sent him the movie along with a care package full of snacks.  Hopefully, he doesn't think that's weird.

I wouldn't find that weird I think that was a great thing to do, kudos!!

Delivery confirmations :D

Also, notes like "hope you enjoy the game/movie" or something along those lines.  I did receive strategy/hint guide to one game though.

Haha wow that was an awesome comment. 

I use Delivery Confirmation for almost everything I send, even if it's only 100 points because I wish other traders used Delivery Confirmation for me...

And my pet peeve is when you send someone a brand new sealed game and they don't even write a comment or leave a tip. Ungrateful bastards.

it feels good that I somewhat rick roll'd him. I even wrote down the lyrics to the song in the message box!!!!

I often put in special bonuses with my packages. I used to do it with every package, but not anymore, the shipping was getting expensive and people were being ungrateful assholes (I'm not asking for tips, but at least leave a freaking comment, I don't think there's any excuse to NOT at least say, "Hey I got the game, it's in great condition, thanks. Also cool bonus, just not up my alley" and that's if you didn't even care for it. At least acknowledge that it's cool for me to do. Come on, Seriously now.)

AHEM! Anyways, I've become a huge comic book geek so I started putting in comics that I had, or extra trades, or extra movies that have some thematic resemblance to the item I'm sending out.

For example, for X-men Legends the bonus was a copy of X-men #1 from the 1990's. The most selling comic of all time. 

For Dollhouse and Tru Calling, I tried to send out some extra issues of Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic series.

A couple examples of the less obvious ones:

For the Berserk series set, I sent out a copy of Spider-man: India because both are steeped in mythology and the supernatural and demons and shit.

For Stranglehold: I sent out a copy of Time and Tide another Hong Kong action flick that I really enjoyed.

For a noirish style game I think Indigo Prophecy, I sent out a copy of District X, a noirish comic book about cops dealing with mutants.

That's just a few examples. So far, I've got about 65% tips from it, 20% acknowledgement in comments, and the rest, not even a freaking comment. Gosh that aggravates me. So now I'm checking people's history and if they have a history of no comments, I don't put bonuses.

I throw in stickers, buttons, toys, and other random stuff in some trades. Depends on who i'm trading with or what I am trading.

I just sent duddy07 the book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies with his Aliens v. Predator, as I was done with it and I knew he was a zombie fiend.
