Goozex can not legally charge either his paypal account or credit card.  On top of that Goozex uses secure servers so they dont know the information about his paypal accound and dont have his credit information. 

I still like my user "in-home visit" idea.

A face to face meeting with a scammer would be fun, however it might lead to the police getting involved after you beat them and all their family down.  Oh so you are married to this scammer are you - POW - teach you to aid and abed!!!

Well they could report it to the USPS and possibly local police as mail fraud, which is a federal offense

This does happen in situations like this, as per previous discussions with the G-Team. If this guy is claiming to send games and then cashing out while not sending them, he'll be reported and face federal charges.

So far, Black Coyote is looking into it. I know at least one other user has posted that they received the same message.

If you received a message from the user in question, PM Black Coyote.

It doesn't seem the user has any new incoming/outgoing trades at the moment.

The admins looked into the trader's account, closed it, and refunded my account, with a comment that if the game actually comes, to notify feedback@goozex.com.

So with his account closed due to suspicious activity, I'm back in the queue for a game no one has. Heh, at least the points have returned.

Awesome. It's nice to hear how swift the Goozex team is behind the scenes.

By the way, would you have found out about his "scam" if the seller didn't leave a message? It sounded like he sent you a suspious message which made you check his queue. Maybe he would have gotten away with it if he didn't send out a message like that?

Chilling. At least we can learn from this.

Didn't you see that on March 30th, PSWii60 traded out a copy of RE5 for the PS3 and 360 on the same day . Very suspicious
