the user has no grounds to leave a negative, suspicion or not

The message says go ahead and leave me a neutral/negative right in it.  If someone PM's you "go ahead and leave me a negative" I consider that grounds no?

"If I can't resolve it within goozex's time limit, then feel free to leave neutral/negative feedback, to my dismay."

so no, it is still not grounds for negative

Pizza guys are getting worse and worse looking. I guess all the good ones went into porn.

For now all I ask is that you all wait patiently, I'll try to get this resolved as quickly as possible. If I can't resolve it within goozex's time limit, then feel free to leave neutral/negative feedback, to my dismay.

This is what the seller said which is not leave a negative now it is leave a negative when the time comes aka near the 21 day period.  There is no option for leaving a negative this early that wouldnt be considered feedback abuse and would potentialy get the buyers account suspended.

I'd just like to mention that feedback abuse results in a ban from the site.

The user is obviously using the easiest way to scam Goozex.  By the time his 21 days are up, he'll have new games in his hands, a huge negative point value, and an account full of negatives.

Can Goozex do anything about this?  Or is he allowed to just leave with a handful of games and a huge negative point value that Goozex has to pay for?

Actually, despite this huge flaw in the security, the beauty of the way the system is set up prevents anyone being hurt from it. Gozzex doesn't lose because they still get the $1 for each request he makes. The buyers get their points, credit and place in line back, so no loss there, and the sellers still get their points for sending him the games.

I've been matched with this seller as well, and I've already pmed the mods about him.  It does seem supsicious.  I got the same exact message from him as well concerning the delivery.  According to the trade widget in his profile, he is receiving a lot of games.  At the very least, its suspicious.

This may be one of the more amusing and disturbing threads pertaining to trading on Goozex that i've read in a while.

Though this has already been stated previously in the thread - I agree this seems VERY suspect based on the volume of games and selection of titles the user is supposedly sending.

Though it seems improbable, hopefully everything is on the up and up.  If not I would assume the G-team should act on this fairly quickly.

I'd also like to volunteer if an "in-home visit" with the user is in order...  Wink

I think you all are on to his scam.  He's stalling for time to use up the 1700 points he's gotten instantly for those games.

It's not a big deal though.  Goozex will just refund the points to the users that never got their games and ban this fool.  No harm done.

I'd like to see Goozex file charges against this guy though.  Most scammers will take 1-2 games tops before bugging out.  This guy is making a break with 10+ games.  That's got to be over $500 worth of merchandise.  I'm no lawyer but there's got to be some monetary limit where a negligible offense turns into a felony that this crooks local law enforcement couldn't ignore.

It only says to do that if he can't solve it in the time limit.

Oh wow I was late. Nevermind.

I think i know what he is doing.  He posts a lot of 1000 point in demand games, and since he gets all the points right away, and his feedback is so high, he can get a lot of games at once.  So then he says to wait while he keeps his (15,000 points) that aren't originally his.  And he'll try and get all the games he can and just never send the games, putting him into -10,000.  But he'll be off, thinking he scammed everyone. [removed false information]

Kind of wierd knowing someone is going to try a scam I came up with (would never do, just thought of).  Well, he is probably scamming.

Edit:  READ THE WALL OF TEXT, IT'S IMPORTANT.

Don't be so proud. It's pretty easy to come up with once you understand the system. I thought of it myself a while ago.

I came up with it first.  Angry   Also, if he is doing it goozex can just charge his CC or paypal like I said and if that doesn't work they have his address and can do Collections

Goozex can not legally charge either his paypal account or credit card.  On top of that Goozex uses secure servers so they dont know the information about his paypal accound and dont have his credit information.
