Kameleon:

G-Nitro:

Wii: Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou

Leave it to G-Nitro to list an import title you can't get on Goozex as one of the best of the system.

Haha, sorry. It's one of the few games I've had the chance to play so far. It's not even that great of a game, just one of the 4 games I've played. Need to really hit my Wii backlog soon. lol

Oh, I see. I thought it was some super great game that explained why the series is only 14 episodes long.Stick out tongue

Of every game I've played on my Wii, by far the most fun we had was Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.

360 - Bunch of games better on the PC (bioshock, Fallout 3)  + Saints Row 2

PS3 - Bunch of games better on the PC (bioshock, Fallout 3)  + Saints Row 2

...

PC:  Left 4 Dead or Supreme Commander

PS3:  Uncharted

Wii:  RE4: Wii Edition

Xbox:  Now, others threw in some lowball comments, so I'll say that this system is irrelevant with a good PC handy.  However, it's a fine system and I liked what little of Halo 3 I got to play on it.  The Ninja Gaiden was good too, albeit aggrivating.

So... maybe you should try console exclusives, such as Gears 2, Fable 2, Halo 3, Braid, MGS4, LBP. Do you own those 2 consoles?

Goes for you too; however, you at least attempted to balance it out by giving some examples of exclusives you enjoyed - good show. <offtopic>, I will say that the argument about the system being irrelevant with a good PC only goes as far as how much money you have (PC equivalent of a 360 costs more), and how much time you would like to invest (plug-in and play versus... not). In this case, you could say the same about the PS3, as BluRay players can be in PCs and it doesn't even have the added advantages of a streamlined online process. </offtopic>

It seems that the point of this thread is best on each console, so saying "nothing" doesn't really work, as each has its merits.

Oh I agree entirely.  I'm a gamer at heart, and don't really get involved in any of the 'this sucks that sucks' banter.  Truth be told, I went into electronic stores 2x, once in september, once in january, fully intent on buying a 360, but always fell short once I hit the game isle.  I'd see some games I'd like to play, and then I'd just glance over my shoulder and see many in PC equivalents.  GTAIV, GoW, and L4D were all on my radar then.  Heck the only Halo I was missing was 3, but I didn't enjoy it enough to warrant a system purchase (seems kind of a cut and dry shooter personally).  So, given I had the super rig at home, I went with PS3 which had more games that tended not to come PC's way such as Uncharted, MGS4, LBP, Burnout (lol ended up on PC), Warhawk, etc.

You're spot on though.  If you want a hassle free setup, get a console.  I just have the knowhow and time to build a decent rig at a console competitive price, so the 360 purchase became moot.

Indeed. I can understand that, as many 360 "exclusives" end up coming to PC, while PS3 ones rarely do. You would be hard-pressed to get the gaming value you can get out of a cheap 360 and Gears 2 though. If you haven't played it I would suggest a try, especially if the original Gears was going to push you over the edge.

lol I think any game will be hard pressed to be labeled a 'shooting simulator' (ex service here).  Hard to replicate the weight and feel and kick of a real firearm.  However, RL aside, did you enjoy that game thoroughly?  I have it in my requests, but I've been hearing mixed reviews about it lately.

And I was crossing my fingers that GoW2 would come to PC eventually, but IDK about that.  GoW looks so much better than what I played on the 360 though when played on the PC...I was hoping to get some more of that high res awesome.

EDIT:  I was also interested in 360's latest deal with Netflix as a streaming device too.

If you have a 360 and already are paying the monthly subscription, the program is pretty slick.  I like it alot.  I went ahead and put my 360 on vacation, so I stream one of two ways now:

PS3:  Playon-- for a one-time program purchase (no recurring Live fees), I get access to my Netflix account, Hulu, and my subscribed stuff on youtube.  Also, I use TVersity to stream my subscribed audio and video feeds from the web.

PC:  VGA cord from PC

The 360 isn't as versatile in what you can subscribe to, but the interface is awesome.

As you can see, there are alot of great options.

Me too.
