hmmmm....this one hinges on how generous your feeling......this would probably make me mad enough to wait it out and leave him a negative.....but thats me.   Otherwise,if you can't cancel it the old fashion way,  PM feedback@goozex.com to cancel the trade.

And its not cool to post the traders name in the post.  Just a heads up.

Remove the users name from the post as that is frowned on.

Email feedback@goozex.com and explain the situation. When it is handled you will get your points and credit refunded.  You will also get your spot back on line.

"Frowned on"? Well, currently I am frowning upon this person, and warning everybody who reads this to not get involved in any trading with this character, because he is liable to sell the game they've contracted for. Or isn't reneging "frowned on", too?

The other trader has plenty of time to cancel the transaction still, giving you your place back in line.  No harm, no foul. 

If you have to wait it out, whole heartedly negative them, but it shouldn't even come to that.

Take it down a few notches, there is no reason to get snippy with the whole entire board when they are simply explaining etiquette to you.

You should ask them to cancel the trade on their side - this way you get your spot in line back.  Make *them* do the work .. .or they will get stuck with a negative.

There is every reason for me to get snippy; for one thing, I've been on this forum almost since it began - I was one of the original voices who voted for its existence. So while I don't make many posts, I'm aware of the rules of etiquette. However, I do feel a certain responsibility is in order warning other people off of traders who do bad things.

That said, I took the advice I learned here, and had the trader cancel out my order, and I've already had another copy of L4D sent to me by another party, so I'm all good, here. Whether the original trader learns his lesson? Who knows? He's certainly not getting punished in any way, he's gotten away with what he did, and because I'm being gagged, none of you get to be warned in anyway. But I suppose it is best to be politically correct rather than well informed...

Political correctness  has nothing to do w/ dispute privacy etiqutte.  There are many of us in favor of a black list feature.  But if you open up the forums to allow people to post user names for all their PMs and disuputes... chaos would result.

Next thing you know people would be posting addresses and sending poop in the mail.
