My cousin (Who's 11) just bought himself a 360.  Though I love video games, I have no particular background knowledge whatsoever on any games that are suitable for him.  He comes over occasionally and loves COD4 and WAW, but I don't really want to get those for him (Since I already have them for ps3, it's a lost cause if it's the exact same game no?)  Any GOOD (UGH NOT THE KUNG-FU PANDA AND INDIANA JONES THAT CAME W/ THE XBOX) below-M rated games, or a game that isn't too gory? (Like Gears of war)

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is always a good one (especially co-op/multiplayer).

Tony Hawk games or Skate come to mind also....

I've been seeing alot of 11 yr olds selling crack on the corner. Might be how
Go with a LEGO game, they actually are pretty fun.

Yeah I should have remembered HBO's The Wire!  Or that funny Dave Chappelle bit about the "baby" on the corner.

Well considering he gets about $100+ each birthday party and the fact that he's been hung over them since I introduced him at around 6-7.... Yea he just got enough

I recommend Beautiful Katamari, all the Katamari games are rated "E" and can hold any age levels interest, it's just awesome when you play it.

Well, for single player games, I'd really recommend Mass Effect. It's a pretty amazing 3rd person shooter action rpg with an excellent futuristic space story.

You're recommending Mass Effect for an 11 year old?

Half the adults who own 360's would have trouble understanding it.
(Not to mention its "risque" content.)

You may as well suggest Rumble Roses XX, Grand Theft Auto IV, or Onechanbara.

I don't think I want to introduce some of the scenes of mass effect to corrupt him... yet... and onechanbara is really pushing it...

Earth Defense Force is fun cheap and the violence is just killing big insects.

Isn't COD4 and WaW already above the M rating?  A dude gets executed at the beginning of each one.

But if you're looking to go with less gore.  As a single player game, I like Prince of Persia.  Tomb Raider Underworld wasn't bad either.  Its similar to PoP just more shooting and less platforming.
