You mean "send the card" when you say "Would I have to sell the card or just PM the buyer the code", right?

And your talking about the game in the link above right?

If "yes" to both (or at least the second question), then you can just PM the code.

Yes well the new xbox came with a card with the code on it. I was just asking because if you send a pm there is no confrimation that the buyer will pay you.

What do you mean?  You have to get matched for the trade first.  Then once you accept, you PM the code to the buyer, and then you get your points as soon as the buyer leaves positive feedback.

PM's are recorded in your "sent" messages folder.

Just a quick thought.  Once you accept the trade, send the user a quick PM just to confirm they still want the code or ask them to request a cancel.  That way you don't have any issues.  Once you PM that code, you can't cancel a trade.
