Okay... I'm not sure where to start, but WOW! I started playing this game about a couple weeks ago and I'm about 60 hours in... a lot of all-nighters because I just can't stop playing (other than last night to beat the CoD:MW2 campaign)!What sethwatts mentioned with Estelle not being able to make a decision is probably the worst thing about the game... in other words; this game is AMAZING!Normally, it ruins stuff for me when there is so much hype and I have such high expectations, but not this time. My-first action fighting RPG that I've played for more than 5-10 hours and I love it! The fighting is actually fun.
Not sure why, but I set the battle difficulty to HARD at the beginning of the game! I forgot that I did that and a buddy of mine who is playing it was comparing stats with me and he was just dominating me when it came to battle stats! I couldn't figure out why there was such a big difference (because I'm not THAT bad)! So finally it came to me and I realized I had my difficulty set to hard. So I asked him and his was set to easy! Made me feel a little better! haha. He recommended I change it to easy, but 60 hours in, I figured I'd leave it, otherwise it'd probably be less of a challenge.And whoever mentioned earlier that this game was ridiculous for achievements was 100% correct! Like earning 10 million Gald?! I'm lucky if I hit 80,000... I know there are things that increase Gald and stuff, but holy! It didn't make it any better that I thought it was 1 million... when I looked at it later and realized it was 10 million I lost all hope. And that's probably not even the hardest achievement!Normally I don't like to use walkthroughs, unless I'm absolutely stuck. I like to play through it first without, then go back a second time, then I'll use a walkthrough to get everything... but I have a feeling I might cave eventually and use one... I hate OCDness!If I hadn't saved before the wolf battle people were talking about, I would have definitely been pooched! Definitely a good challenge.Anyway, thanks to those who recommended this game for me. I could wall of text about this game all day, but I think I'm just going to go play it instead!
