Mechazawa005:

Kameleon:

Keep in mind, when Warrior came out I was like 6 or 7, so it probably was based more on the fact that he was over with the fans than actual wrestling ability.

I understand...and I would have only been a few years older and I was still 'OMG the Warrior is teh awesomesss' !!

He's a worthy pick Kameleon, but just like some movies or TV shows don't age well and seem far worse when watched later...so too is it with the Warrior's matches.

Hysterical/amazing promo skills though.  When I watched as a kid I had no idea what he was ranting about...now that i'm older it just blows my mind.

Found my copy of the DVD and gonna give it a watch tonight.  A friend brought it over for a little party a few years ago and it killed me...especially Christian's impersonation of the Warrior.  I had to own a copy after that.

True, back in the day a bunch of people loved Hulk Hogan but when they go back now and watch they are always saying how bad of a wrestler he was. Though I'll admit, I probably have always liked wrestlers with great mic skills over wrestlers with great technical skills (not to say I don't enjoy the latter).

I probably should pick up a copy too. In a way though, it's pretty sad that the WWE just makes a mockery of him. When they came out with the DVD, it made it sound like he was dead (although I think it was because it was really similar to the title of the Brian Pillman DVD).

I loved wrestling.....back before I hit puberty.  In that mindless age, I would have had  to say my favorite was Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

If only I remembered watching him wrestle. I've heard he put on great performances and is one of the best technical wrestlers of all time.

Too bad puberty made you lose your common sense.Stick out tongue

I really used to enjoy watching wrestling.  I'm not embarrassed to admit that I've been to about 5 WWF/WWE events, but it has really gone down hill in quality of performances and talent.

NinjaJ just called me out for not posting here...which is strange b/c I'm neither a fan or hater of wrestling.  I did love this cartoon though as a kid!

Professional wrestling was the cornerstone of my personality for many, many years. I got into it watching it with my Grandfather. He was a WCW guy. I became a WWF guy. I went through many fav's over the years but my favorite of all time, as my signature and PSN comment confirms has been Taz/Tazz. When I was introduced to ECW and I seen this little stocky guy tossing people and choking them out, I was drawn to him. The Tazzmission is an original finisher as well. For those who don't know it's a modified version of Judo submission hold where the Gi is used to choke an opponent.

Beat me if you can, survive if I let you!

I've always been a fan of Sting. Sting the wrestler...not the musician Big Smile

I'm guessing none of those are your favorites and you were only joking, because of the smiley.

I'm not going to lie, it really has. Hopefully it will get better when TNA gets bigger and Vince actually sees them as a large threat and tries harder. He's starting to try harder, but still not there as a whole (only the main event is really strong right now, everything else is neglected).

If Tna keeps up a steady pace, and sign more big name stars then they will surpass WWE

I had no idea there were this many fans of professional "wrestling".  I can understand loving it when your a kid because of the stories and the grandness of it, but once you realize its really just grown men play fighting???   Doesn't it lose it's awe after that??  No real winners......No real stories......just oiled up men in there underwear, dancing around each other in a choreographed ballet, surrounded by bungie chords on a bouncing stage.   Just seems........well I don't want to offend anyone here......just silly I guess.   I might receive hate mail for this, I just don't get it.
