Yes, that's the one I was referring to.
I've gotten good deals from Blockbuster buying used games. The people who sold got dirt though. I got Crackdown for $5 and Soul Calibur IV for $19.
You guys are lucky. Our town area has no game crazy's nearby. The local mall has 3 gamestops, well 1 is an ebay, but yea. FYE also accepts trade ins, much better credit than GS or EB. I wish I could find a game crazy all you are talking about., but 50+ miles for a game store is ridiculous.
Decrypded: Looks like Best Buy is jumping into the foray too. http://kotaku.com/5163436/best-buy-reexamining-used-game-sales

I work at a Best Buy in the video game department and there have been no rumblings of this at the store level. just thinking about the logistics of starting this are staggering. at my store probably 4 departments would need to be moved around just for the ability to have somewhere to store and test the used copies. this would also go against Best Buy's current trending towards a more grab and go store (although they won't admit it)
Off topic, but did Best Buy start selling guitars?
Override: Off topic, but did Best Buy start selling guitars?
yes, but with a pretty limited selection that varies by store. i think my store has a total of 4 guitars available for sale. our musical instruments section/aisle is taken up mostly by keyboards.
It was only a matter of time before other retail chains tried to take a piece the multi-billion dollar Gamestop pre-owned pie.
Still won't sway me from trading games through Goozex in the least - but for those who don't mind the leg work it does add another option to flip pre-owned games from store to store.

That's good, it might stop gamestop from raping everyone and we can get cheaper prices, maybe wake up gamestop management.
Thanks to spooon for this one: It appears Amazon.com is now accepting trade ins as well!http://www.amazon.com/Video-Games-Trade-In/b?ie=UTF8&node=979418011&ref%5F=amb%5Flink%5F83643391%5F1
